Saw a great recommendations for Superior Auto Repair online, called and they were able to get me in MUCH faster than anywhere else. Dropped off the truck at 9, had a call by 11 with the details/estimate and the truck was fixed by 2. Warren was fantastic in terms of knowledge and also was extremely helpful. “This place has great service and people. I had asked them to check my brakes while doing an alignment. When I picked up the car and asked about the brakes, the service agent realized it hadn't been done. Since the bays were full he said it might be another hour before they could get it up on the rack again but would go check with the owner who came out immediately, apologized profusely, took my keys and drove my car into a side bay they don't usually use. He pulled another tech over and the 2 of them went over the entire brake system while I watched and said there was plenty of life left in the rotors and pads. A less reputable place might have taken the opportunity to try and sell me on the need to do a brake job (75k miles since the last pad replacement). Honesty, great reputable service. They will get the brake job when the time comes.”

“About 5 miles outside of Bellingham my car started sounding like a jollapy. Instinctively I knew to go back up the road versus keep driving to Seattle. I drive to a highly rated auto my location and met Pat of Sterling Automotive. Wow! Luckily i stumbled unto an honest mechanic who was unwilling to just take my money, but instead recommended I spend the money getting a proper diagnosis before trying to fix things that weren’t actually the problem. Although they were booked till the following week, they managed to assess my car the same night and had it fixed within 2 days. Thanks Pat for building, not only instant rapport, but instant trust. Your colleague made sure to water my plants and even moved them indoors so that they didn’t get overheated. We joked that he had a greased thumb by day and a green thumb at night. Over the course of my time living in Bellingham, I have tried several repair shops, some acceptable & some have been lacking in customer service and technical support.I had some fairly complicated repairs with my '95 F-150 and once we were able to schedule the work, I was regularly in contact with the service Advisors on progress. Some complications arose and the techs had numerous elements to investigate & source parts etc. They were incredibly focused on getting it right and making sure the truck was sound & running like new.
