I don't have a suntrust account so I had to inconveniently use some of my lunch hour two days in a row to complete these transactions. Though I was annoyed by having to do this, my experience with the Suntrust employees on both occasions were very pleasant. In my head I was thinking had I had an account here, this wouldn't be my current situation. And like a physic, the representative asked me, "so why don't you have an account with us - if you did you wouldn't have to come into the branch." Just because she read my mind, I almost considered opening an account, but quickly remembered that my little short money wouldn't allow that. I told her, there's no need for me to have multiple bank accounts if I don't have the coins to fund it. We laughed, and she said, "ok, but if u ever decide to change your mind, we're here to help!" “I went in today (1/30/24) to open an account. I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Corin. She did a wonderful job. I couldn’t have asked for better service. This branch happened to be under staffed today. There were only two of them and Corin was the only one with a till open. There were so many people coming in and out so I waited patiently and allowed her to take care of the other customers. I could see she was getting a little overwhelmed but she maintained her professionalism. With her taking care of me, the customers, and the other employees transactions for her, she was absolutely amazing. I look forward to seeing her again. “I switched from Langley a few months ago after consistent issues and app outages making life more stressful then necessary. The ease of use of Chase apps has been consistent and have experienced no issues with deposits or withdrawals. Met with Matthew at the Granby location and he was very nice and professional. Wasn’t able to complete what was needed at no fault of the bank but still a good experience. I’d recommend. I don’t mind the distance from VB to Norfolk due to in person banking being very minimally needed due to consistent top performing online access.”

“I have gone to 3 different Wells Fargo Banks in the Norfolk, VA area. Ghent is by far the best service around and better than the Wells Fargo Banks I dealt with in the Richmond, VA areas. I was shocked to see the low scores on the review. The tellers are always very good and knowledgeable, the branch manager is fantastic and very hands on, and I don't know what her title is, but she helps you open accounts, etc. I actually followed her to the Ghent branch, that's how good and personal she is. I am so grateful that the Ghent location team is there, I do have to drive 25 minutes to get there, but it worth it!
I have to go to another WF tomorrow that's on my way to an appointment. I choose the better branch of the 2. My friend sent me the review of the one I always have to wait, when I go there. It made me curious about Ghent.
