“I’ve been a NFCU member for around 20 years and there’s no place else I’d ever want to bank! Their branch hours are super convenient no matter your schedule, atm’s are located near popular shopping and no fees when using the atm at any 7-11’s or Wawa’s!The customer service is better than any bank/credit union I’ve ever been to. I’ve had my debit card/account hacked (through no fault of NFCU more than once and they have immediately credit all unauthorized charges back to my account.My only complaint would be that if you don’t have excellent credit you’re not likely to be approved for any type of loan despite your length of membership or monthly income.Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend any other for banking.”

I called 1800 number on navy Federal to make sure the location is in business. Luckily it is. They must made some renovations because the place looks mint and it has 2 atms. I'm really impressed.”

“This Navy Federal normally allows me to get in and out quickly.There was no one in line so i was done in 5 minutes. The person at the door greeted me and the teller was nice. They offer lines of credit, debit cards, mortgages, car loans, gift cards and etc. I like purchasing gift cards for birthdays and holidays because its free with no fees to use. That's definitely a plus. I've been a member a long time and my transactions normally are pretty smooth. You will find longer lines around the 1st and 15th. But its not to bad. The credit unions normally have very competitive interest rates and they sometimes offer you perks for referring others to open an account. Some businesses even offer discounts for being a member here. Check them out!!!”

“I came her to help handle some banking things for my elderly father, and I will say that everything went according to plan. Our banker, Vicky, was very nice, super friendly, and very helpful. She was more than happy to answer all of our questions regarding the different types of accounts available at BayPort. The only downside to this credit union is that there are a few branches in the Hampton Roads area, so it might be difficult to deal with the credit union if you live outside of the area. At least on the few times that I have visited the credit union, the wait time was very minimal.”

The customer service inside is always polite and professional, there is always someone at the front desk when you walk in to greet you and answer any quick questions you may have and they always have candy :)”

However, It's been 18 months since I got the car and I am in a much better financial situation and the 72 month loan I will pay it off in 24 months. “I just need to give Stephanie a shoutout for all her help! In 2018 we started the divorce process and she was so patient with helping us as we figured out some of the financial aspects, including assisting us with getting my car put in my name with a new loan. The timing wasn't right (read: we were a mess and didn't have anything together on our end.) She was patient and understanding. When I went back months later she really helped me look at things from every angle and helped me see all my options- not just the ones that would be beneficial to her/Bayport. I really felt like she scared and made an effort to make a genuine connection. She is a delight to be around and I will drive out of my way to visit this Bayport location just so I can continue doing business with her. On a more general note about this branch- it's in a convenient location. My interaction with the tellers has been positive. There is plenty of parking.”
