“I rented from this place so many times from 2005- 2015. They always treated me well. Never turned me away. Always worked with me, knew me and my family by name, and never kept my deposit. I’m in need of a rental that I know I’ll be able to keep as long as I need with no hassles so I decided to look up the number and was surprised to see so many bad reviews. “Our fridge has compressor issues and it will be several weeks until they can get out to service it. Mario helped us get a short term rental fridge the same day we called him. He was friendly and thorough. The contract was easy to read and explained each section. The delivery guys came out that night and were prompt and professional. Pleasantly surprised with the whole process since I had heard negative things about appliance rental places.”

“I am genuinely surprised to see this place with a less than 4/5 overall rating. The location is a bit hard to find because the Budget sign isn't on the building and it just looks like a gas station, but I have never had such good customer service from a rental company. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. We were even given a discount after realizing we booked too small of a moving truck. They upgraded us two sizes and didn't charge us for the upgrade. I highly recommend these guys.”

“I ended up having to get a rental while my car was in the shop for a month. I had a wonderful experience at this location. Each time I call to extend my rental they were very helpful and accommodating. They called to follow up after I returned the vehicle to make sure everything went well since I used the drop box. “If you need a vehicle for a group of people or to move things, Apple Car and Truck Rental is a good place to rent cars for a reasonable price. The vehicles were clean and in good shape. Although communication was tougha d not so clear, dealing with a small business is much easier than a big rental company. This makes it really convenient for a group or yourself. I enjoyed working with him and would do again 10/10.I'm so satisfied with this place, if you need a car or a truck, this is the place to get it.”

“Flight arrived shortly after 1PM and got to the kiosk. When I asked for a car seat rental as well I had to wait almost an hour because staff didn't know the proper code to add the car seat to the rental. I had to wait for the next shift to arrive before anyone could figure out how to add the seat. Otherwise, no problems, please have staff properly trained on the Payless portal.”

I try not to do google reviews because they're a sign you're a pain in the neck, but I couldn't find where to give their manager props.We picked up on Friday 7/21, and I had missed the $200 deposit in addition to the price of the rental. The guy at the desk was patient as I freaked out and put extra money on my card. He's super clear, funny, and direct, which is worth its weight in gold as a customer service representative. I worked and recruited in call centers for five or six years and it was probably the best customer service I've ever received.After that, it was totally painless and I had the deposit back on my card the day of return.I'm not sure if they read these reviews, but if they do, thank you for a good first rental experience.”

“Despite the initial challenge at the Budget office in Richmond, VA, where counters were unexpectedly closed, the transition to Avis for assistance was smooth. Despite the long queue, after a 45-minute wait, a professional and polite lady from Avis processed the reservation efficiently, calming down frustrated customers. The vehicle pickup was positive – clean and functional. Returning the car was convenient with a Budget representative at the drop-off zone. Despite the initial delay, the overall service and the exceptional handling of the situation is what appreciated the most. I forgot the Avis representative's name who assisted me but it probably because of her that I had an overall satisfying experience.”

“We came to drop off a vehicle we rented from the Newark airport. There were issues at the Newark location when we rented the vehicle so we had to discuss a few things once we dropped off the vehicle. Once we arrived to the rental car drop off area, we were greeted by an attendant (Jeff) who was attentive and kind. He reached out to the manager (Marchello) to come and speak with us. Marchello came and greeted us with a smile and was very professional when we discussed our concerns and issues. He was able to fix our issue and was very understanding through the whole process. For this, I give thrift/dollar car rental a 5 star rating. Thank you both for your assistance.”
