He was friendly and thorough. The contract was easy to read and explained each section. The delivery guys came out that night and were prompt and professional. Pleasantly surprised with the whole process since I had heard negative things about appliance rental places.”

“Morgan was awesome, helped me out with a drop off superfast and no issues.She even politely listened to me complain about the atrocious automated phone call system that enterprise uses to sadistically punish its customers.I can only assume that the AI has become sentient and is testing the tolerance of one customer base after another probing for breaking points before the automated phone response system proverbially kills John Wick's dog and some guy heads out to destroy the server rooms.Until then, thanks for the rental car. Your phone system sucks.”

“I am genuinely surprised to see this place with a less than 4/5 overall rating. The location is a bit hard to find because the Budget sign isn't on the building and it just looks like a gas station, but I have never had such good customer service from a rental company. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. We were even given a discount after realizing we booked too small of a moving truck. They upgraded us two sizes and didn't charge us for the upgrade. I highly recommend these guys.”

“I ended up having to get a rental while my car was in the shop for a month. I had a wonderful experience at this location. Each time I call to extend my rental they were very helpful and accommodating. They called to follow up after I returned the vehicle to make sure everything went well since I used the drop box. When I asked for a car seat rental as well I had to wait almost an hour because staff didn't know the proper code to add the car seat to the rental. I had to wait for the next shift to arrive before anyone could figure out how to add the seat. Otherwise, no problems, please have staff properly trained on the Payless portal.”

“Super impressed, honestly. I try not to do google reviews because they're a sign you're a pain in the neck, but I couldn't find where to give their manager props.We picked up on Friday 7/21, and I had missed the $200 deposit in addition to the price of the rental. The guy at the desk was patient as I freaked out and put extra money on my card. He's super clear, funny, and direct, which is worth its weight in gold as a customer service representative. I worked and recruited in call centers for five or six years and it was probably the best customer service I've ever received.After that, it was totally painless and I had the deposit back on my card the day of return.I'm not sure if they read these reviews, but if they do, thank you for a good first rental experience.”

“This was the best experience I’ve had with Avis. The main reason was because of the best customer service I’ve ever had, this was due to Paulette Daley! She was professional, kind, and just an all around amazing person! She tended to my needs and provided excellent advice, she quickly got me out of the door and when she saw the vehicle was a little dirty due to a storm that passed through she had her team clean the exterior car on the spot. I didn’t even suggest it! She went out of her way. She was truly incredible. Avis is very lucky to have her running that offices operations. She is an example of what it means to be a stellar employee. Honestly, I’ve never had such incredible service! When I returned the car she was just as amazing and I couldn’t thank her enough for help and service. Thank you Paulette and I’ll definitely be coming back because of you!!!!”

“Despite the initial challenge at the Budget office in Richmond, VA, where counters were unexpectedly closed, the transition to Avis for assistance was smooth. Despite the long queue, after a 45-minute wait, a professional and polite lady from Avis processed the reservation efficiently, calming down frustrated customers. The vehicle pickup was positive – clean and functional. Returning the car was convenient with a Budget representative at the drop-off zone. Despite the initial delay, the overall service and the exceptional handling of the situation is what appreciated the most. I forgot the Avis representative's name who assisted me but it probably because of her that I had an overall satisfying experience.”
