“Shopping for engagement and wedding rings with Anthony was a truly pleasurable experience that exceeded all my expectations. He explained how to choose good quality diamonds and bands while showing lots of examples from his vast collection. We were able to customize all aspects of our rings to get exactly what my wife had always dreamed of. The one-on-one attention with Anthony made us feel at ease, and he doesn't employ high-pressure sales tactics like many traditional jewelry stores. My wife gets complimented on her ring everywhere we go, and it just exudes quality. We couldn't be happier.”

“I am quite late in writing a review, but was reminded yesterday just how wonderful the Befitted team is. Not only were they incredibly kind in the entire tailoring process, they also helped make a last minute adjustment literally days before I had to leave for my wedding week out of state. They helped me figure out what undergarments best suited my dress and offered a wealth of knowledge for proper dress care. I felt well cared for and I am so grateful for their support!”

“So happy to have be referred to them from a friend. I got my dress during a sample sale and was so so happy with the entire process.I found my dress during my first appointment, which I went in with the idea of "I'm just trying things on" because I had no idea what shape or style I wanted.The team was so helpful down to literally the last thread. I fell in love with a dress but was hesitant to saying it was the one just because of a pulled thread. They had the alterations team come up and she told me "oh thats an easy fix, I can just press that out" I looked at her like she had 6 heads (mind you I know nothing about clothes) and she asked me to take the dress off so she could go press it out real quick. She came buck up, I put the dress back on and I said "what are you a wizard!!!". One of the easiest wedding choices I had to make, and to be honest I wasn't looking forward to dress shopping at all!I couldn't have been happier with the entire appointment!”

“I don’t leave a lot of reviews but this place is worth one! This place may seem small but the staff have large hearts. Their selection is amazing, well made, and truly deserves the title boutique. I truly wanted to to yes to one of the amazing dresses that only seemed to get better, but I couldn’t without having the chance to show my mother. I didn’t want to spoil my future fiancés (he pulled a ring from the safe) plans to ask my parents shortly so I perhaps the dress I wanted will be there when the time is right and it will be meant to be!”

“An exceptional experience at a fine institution. The proprietor Ed took care of us in a timely manner without lacking even the smallest attention to detail. We are visiting for the DC Mardi Gras and needed tuxedos last minute. Ed was very accommodating and his prices were so reasonable! We are leaving tomorrow and he even offered to pickup our clothes from the hotel for us. Wow! Great service, and will definitely be back next time in DC. Oh and he recommended Martin's Tavern for lunch, a local establishment, calling the manager to ensure we got in!”

“I went to Zoya’s with my best friend to watch her try on wedding dresses. This was the 7th store we went to and we had the most incredible experience. Zoya was so knowledgeable, helpful and really cared about our experience and helping my friend find the perfect dress. I wish I had gone here when I was looking for a wedding dress! From start to finish the best experience and highly recommend stopping in and seeing the gorgeous selection that she has to offer!!”

“This review is especially for Farah. I had no idea what to expect coming into a wedding gown search. This was my first stop in my shopping and after 1 hour, I was walking out with the dress. Farah is a rare, beautiful soul who accommodates what each particular bride needs. I probably could have kept searching but she helped me to find everything I wanted within a budget. She helped me to surprise myself. I would recommend her to any other bride. This is truly her calling. Thank you Farah.”

“Not very good price transparency, but overall, I enjoyed my experience! I paid nearly $1,000 more dollars to get a "plus size" dress (yes, $1,000), but they did not tell me that was going to be the case. I guess when entering into a couture shop, price isn't talked about because its expected that you can pay. I am 180lbs, so I knew I needed fabric, but not that much more. It could also be according to the designer, so I can understand if communication can't be expected until final cost is calculated.This is more my own input for future brides: I definitely regret not paying for the two hour appointment. I am indecisive and needed extra time, but that's on me.My 90 minute appt went fast as they started a little late and I felt they asked too many questions to try and get the wedding "vibe." I appreciate that you are trying to imagine the vibe so the dress can look accordingly, but this shouldn't be more than 2-3minutes (time is of the essence, again).Also tip for brides: go in with people keeping your vision in mind. The staff member is very nice, but at the end of the day they are a sales person, and they are trying to make a sale. There are also a lot of voices going on because everyone is excited, so make sure no one convinces you of a vision that is different from your own unless you know that you've changed your mind on your own.”

“This place is a dream! I went to a couple bridal shops in Dallas and the DMV but nothing matches EBR’s collection of wedding gowns. I had a very specific idea in mind and I shared my Pinterest with Crystal who knew right away what to do. She immediately brought the vision to life through her suggestions. Crystal has such an amazing eye and I am so happy I came here. I’ve been to numerous stores where the stylist just pulled dresses but weren’t really providing guidance or suggestions- she is THE bridal stylist to work with.Roya, the owner, also went out of her way to find the perfect lace and design to match my dress. “There aren't enough wonderful things I could say about my experience with Marie & Serki!! I live in San Diego but was in VA for a work conference. I didn't love any of the dresses I had tried back home, so I thought I'd take a shot at trying a few dresses during my lunch break! I called Global Bridal and they told me to come on in.. I rushed over to Global Bridal and Marie met me immediately with the dress I had inquired about and the most incredible amount of loving energy I'm still deeply appreciating 1 month later. I didn't love the dress I had picked, but Marie had already picked out 3 dresses for me to try.. every dress was more & more beautiful! I was sure the 2nd dress was the one, but Marie convinced me to try one more.. and my goodness, IT WAS PERFECT! My mother passed away 5 years ago to the day.. and wedding dress shopping without my mom has been something that I've been truthfully dreading.. but the way Marie & Serki were celebrating with me and loving on me.. it was one of the first times since she's passed that I felt my mom's presence in a big way. I truly believe that my mom led me to visit Marie & Serki that day and the memory of my trip at Global Bridal still brings me tears of joy. Marie & Serki- thank you from the bottom of my heart! You didn't know this, but you both made what would've been a dreadful experience for me one of the most enjoyable and heart-warming days for me. “Jeanhee altered my wedding dress and added bustles to it. She was very professional and knowledgeable, and was able to make last minute changes. I wore a strapless dress and was worried it would not stay up, but it fit perfectly and I was able to dance all night. Highly recommend!”

“We took my son's first birthday photos here. They were very professional and polite. We rented hanboks for the photo shoot. Their collection of hanboks are very nice. They let us come in prior to photo shoot day to pick out our hanboks. During the photo shoot, they tried their best to make my son smile. They seemed very experienced with taking baby photos. Everything went well, and the photos came out great. I highly recommend this place if you want to rent hanbok or get some nice photos. I will be coming back when we have another occasion for special photos!!”

“I am so glad I went to Christen for my dress! She was amazing and helped me find an affordable dress in my price range at the last minute that I absolutely fell in love with. As a plus-size person, not every bridal shop carries my size or makes me feel comfortable about trying on dresses. Christen did all of that and I can't thank her enough for making me feel beautiful on my special day.”

“I've known I wanted to shop for a dress at Anthropologie for over a decade, ever since I walked into one as a teenager and fell in love with the dresses hanging up around the space. Sarah was our bridal stylist and she was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and attentive, she really made me feel special and made sure to check in with me and figure out exactly what I liked and didn't. We tried in seven dresses total, and I ended up trying two again, all within the hour-long session. I honestly had no expectations coming in, I thought I'd try a few on and then come back for a second appointment. But I'm so excited to say I found the perfect dress for my elopement. The one I chose ended up around $1300, which was a great price for how gorgeous and well made the dress is. We bought before we left and it was back ordered, so I should get it in a few weeks! Thank you to Sarah and the entire Anthropologie team, it was such a fun, easy experience and all of the dresses are so gorgeous.”

“Mina did an amazing job with my ao dai! I received so many compliments on it at my engagement dinner from both my own guests and strangers that I came across throughout the day. The fit was perfect (the lower half of my body is quite wide, and I have a hard time finding pants--the pants were totally comfortable!) and the color was just what I asked for. The hat even fit my head! I can never get a hat to fit my head lollll. Mina said that the ao dai would be completed in 2 months, and it was (to my surprise) *exactly* 2 months lol. I really appreciate how responsive she was to my messages throughout the process and how helpful she was while I was shopping for both ao dai and western-style wedding dresses. I was and still am very impressed/in love with the ao dai she made for me and would definitely come back again for another if needed. Thank you so much, Mina :)”

Lovely Bride was the second bridal shop I visited while I was still figuring out what kind of dress I liked. The consultant who helped us, Elizabeth, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and pulled a good range of dresses which really helped me get a better feel for what silhouettes and styles worked for me/didn't work for me.”
