“Rockstar service, this is my new go-to shop. My window motor/switch had been acting funny, so I’d already planned to replace both, bust sure enough, it went kaput the day before a big rainstorm while the window was down 4”. Having just moved to the area, I wasn’t familiar with any of the auto shops so I picked the nearest one. I came in about 30 min before close so they had every right to turn me away, but instead they were willing to fix it for me and charge a very fair price (no markup for last minute / emergency service). “My go-to. Look at all these 5-star reviews - normally that would be sus but Top Japanese Auto is the real deal. Their prices are low too. One time he quoted a price range over the phone for installing a specific item, and the final price actually was the minimum of that range. Imagine that, an estimate range that actually comes out slightly high. Another time, someone dented our bumper and all he did was kick it and the big dent popped inside out and looked good as new. I mean he could have easily said we needed a new bumper and we wouldn't have known any better. Also not bad with scheduling and being able to squeeze you in when possible. Two thumbs up!”

“We recently purchase a 2024 Kia Telluride and it was one of the easiest, pain free buying experiences we have ever had. We never felt any pressure from our salesperson (Karam Said, who was lovely and I would absolutely recommend to work with). We test drove a couple of vehicles, moving around carseats between them to make sure it worked best for our family. There was never any rush for us to make a decision. The process of negotiating a price was quick, valuing our trade in was easy and the financing process was also very quick. Everyone we dealt with was very processional and friendly. So let's start with the great. Customer service ice is superb, and they live up to the "jiffy" in their name in the speed of getting you in and out.
Facility is well kept and is serviceable for the purposes it was constructed for.
Staff is superb and super friendly.
Only down sides:
It isn't cheap. Oil changes run over $100 per occasion. In all fairness, that is true everywhere. If you want a cheap oil change, do it in your driveway. For me, I don't have a flat area to do that safely, thus jiffy lube.
The exit onto the main road is awkward. If you keep your patience, you can get out ok, but don't expect it to be super easy.”

“I’ve taken my Honda RDX in 3 times for brake rotors, pads, oil and filter, a/c maintenance, 30k maintenance and most recently a battery replacement. When an Exxon mechanic told me I needed a brake job Mr. Kim said that wasn’t correct, and consequently, I was able to put it off for more than a year. This shop is not near me, but I went on a recommendation. Mr. Kim is always fair, reasonable and with great customer service. When my battery died recently, I went straight to his shop after jumping it. He said it would be a couple of hours because staff was at lunch. I said that’s ok, I can wait. Instead, he decided to take care of the battery install himself because he didn’t want me to wait. I highly recommend this shop.”
“Solid garage with honest staff. I had my car at the dealership and they told me I needed about $5000 worth of work done on my SUV. I brought it to Smokey's and after they thoroughly looked it over, they determined that none of the work the dealer recommended needed to be done. Highly recommend this garage!”

“I would never have found Oscar if my mechanic hadn't told me about him. He has no website, and his shop is set way back from the street so you'd never know it was there unless you were looking for it. It really did feel like visiting some kind of shady, back-alley operation when I first stopped by for an estimate, but it all turned out great. After someone hit my car and damaged the front end, I got 3 estimates and Oscar's was almost 60% lower than the others due to his much lower labor rate. The person who hit my car didn't want to go through insurance, so it was very helpful to find someone who could do the work at a fraction of the cost. My car is 24 years old, so I just needed it fixed rather than looking new again but Oscar did a great job and he did it very quickly. Dropped the car off on Monday evening and had it back Wednesday morning. If you have an older vehicle or just need a solid repair, don't make an appointment anywhere else without visiting Oscar first.”
