“Diego is the most honest mechanic I've come across. He was able to look at my car the same day I called and was very polite. My dealership had told me I was about to fail my inspection over some suspension issues, and after looking Diego said it was a little worn but that no repairs were needed and it would last for some time. I brought up multiple things I was told needed repair, which he said were fine. Instead, he pointed out some minor fixes I wasn't aware of (and that Acura hadn't mentioned) and went on to fix them the same day. Highly, highly, recommend. I've been to multiple mechanics in Tyson's, and they are alright, but Diego is the best and very pleasant to deal with (his wife too).”

They took the vehicle in despite no appointment, diagnosed it immediately, and had it back to me Monday morning as soon as parts were available. “Huge shoutout to Henry who helped me save almost $1000 when the dealer misquoted me ~$1500 for rear brakes and caliper replacement for my 2016 Mazda. Henry spent his own time to search for parts and beat the dealers price; but even BETTER once I brought my car in he double checked and found caliper replacements were not needed which cut the overall cost by almost half.Been looking for a reliable auto service team in the area and glad I finally found one!”

“Took my Range Rover in for service today at McLean Shell. I admit, I was unsure at first being its a newer Range Rover, but I’m tired of the nonsense, lack of commuincation, delays and price gouging from the local Land Rover dealers. I’ve been to them all. It’s an all day/week or month event every time. Well no more. Today I decided to go back to my roots and have a small independent shop work on my car. I gave Hooman a list of items I needed done, left the keys and walked out. So very glad I did. Hooman had everything completed the same day and to my surprise for a fraction of what I would have paid at the dealer. He even fixed a rattling noise that the dealer couldn’t fix. I’m blown away. Honest, fair, reasonable and fast. They just earned a customer for life.”

“I always take my car for safety and emission testing to this place. At most, there is only one person in front of me. I quickly get in and out! At other places in McLean and Vienna, it could take up to 1.5 hours to deal with these testings. Additionally, these guys are kind and professional. It sort of hurts to get the word out on how efficient they are because it could slow down my ability to punch out these tests. However, they deserve the extra business.”

“I came in for a lifetime 4 wheel alignment on a Tesla. My online appointment request had not been looked at from 4 hours ago and I was told I would have to wait at least an hour and a half. They ended up doing it in about an hour. The alignment was completed but 1 measurement was still red so it seems like I need to go back. I believe the tread and pressure measurements are just made up. I know the pressures are off by at least 7psi and there large differences in the ages of the 4 tires so I have trouble believing that every measurement was 8/32. I also had an online quote for lifetime alignment that was declined and was charged an extra $50 for adv driving assist calibration which I assume is just an upcharge for doing nothing.Update 2/19/2024I received a follow-up call today from Travis, a manager at this location, and I’m revising my review. Travis explained that the one remaining red measurement (front-left castor) cannot be adjusted on the Tesla. All of my adjusted toe, steer ahead, and thrust angle measurements are now dead-center so I’m happy with the alignment. Travis also agreed to sell me the lifetime alignment and charged me the difference from what I paid yesterday (including the advanced driver assistance calibration up-charge). Lastly he took accurate tread depth measurements for my record.”
