“I try to make it a habit of spending my money in small businesses and when I came across Norms beer and wine I think 20 years ago I began shopping in his store. I discovered all kinds of wonderful beers and he even had a Beer Brewing news magazine. While looking through the magazine I discovered a tournament of beers. I immediately went ahead and played the tournament trying all the beers against each other and I came to discover that Old Chubb Scotch Ale was the best of them all. Thank you Norm. There was even a time that my wife and I would buy 30 packs of Strohs or Old Milwaukee for $15.99 Get to know Norman the owner. He is a small business operator & a good man.”

“Shocked!! Stopped by to pick up a few bottles before my parents arrived in town,I grew up in the SF Bay Area, close to Napa, Sonoma, and Lodi. We usually bought wine at the wineries. Well... I'm just about out of my CA stash,The lady at the shop was super helpful, helped me choose whites and reds. We opened a bottle from Cline, I did not have high hopes. It said Contra Costa on the bottle (where I grew up!). Anyhow, it was fabulous and only $16.99.I am looking FWD to trying the rest and going back!!BTW... sandwich shop is delicious (a few doors down) and bread shop is great too. Lots of little gems in the neighborhood”

“I was looking for a specific Vodka, which they did not have on the shelf. The Lady who worked there was very helpful in finding a "nearby" store which had the item in stock and also didn't hesitate to call them to make sure it is in the store. I will definitely go back to this location. She said that they usually have that item or could order it. I just loved the customer service.”

“Upon finishing my military hair cut, I decided to get a special bottle of whiskey for my wife. I remember her telling me about Royal Crown and a new flavor called Apple last year.Today, I stopped by to see if they had a bigger bottle of whiskey than the size that was bought last time. Sure enough this store did, but I saw something that changed everything. Next to the bottle of Royal Crown Apple are a few bottles of Royal Crown Peach. Something I figured my wife would want to try since she loved the Royal Crown Apple. Once again my suspicion were correct and she loved the Royal Crown Peach. The manager told me this bottle is hard to keep on the shelf.I will have to keep my eyes open for two more bottles of the Royal Crown Peach should I see it.”
“I don't drink that much, but when I need something, I'm usually unsure of what I want so I need to ask. The staff at this location has always been exceptional. One of the managers there is probably the most knowledgeable guy I've met when it comes to understanding what you're looking for.Quick convenient location, great staff of people, and a good quality of selection. I would recommend this location.”
“I only occasionally go to this store but every time I do the staff is very friendly and helpful. They're always working it keep the shop clean and organized. Only reason not a 5 star is because ABC has a pretty good selection, but not an excellent selection.”
“Today I stopped by looking for a high quality gin for an event. The very knowledgeable clerk was able to talk about the most expensive gin, and most unique gin (gunpowder) and the smoothest and best tasting. His recommendation for best tasting was half what I was planning to spend. Thanks!”
“You can't really beat the selection of craft beer and domestic and international wines on offer here. Most importantly for me you can really customize your beer experience in particular, building your own six pack or just trying one beer from a pack and come back for that four or six pack if you liked it. No other place really allows you to do that so Total Wine will always be one of the best places to enjoy craft beer - and wine too!”

“They receive from 5:00 am, enter through the first street on the left, drive to the patio, if you see a free dock, park at once, then enter, sign, put PO number and arrival time, leave the papers together with the signal, once downloaded go in to look for your papers..”

“Needed a couple of specialty items for the 2023 Autumn/Halloween/Pumpkin Cocktail season - and the Virginia ABC Store at University Mall was the only Virginia ABC Store in the area that had a quantity of the Crop Harvest Earth Organic Spiced Pumpkin Vodka in stock! So - drove over from Haymarket to snag a bottle - along with a bottle of Bols Pumpkin Spice Liqueur (which seems to be more broadly available). Paid with Apple Pay and was on my way! #VirginiaABCStore”
“My sister and I had lunch here today, it was a bit busy but we got seated right away. Service was great and the food was fairly quick and delicious! Some of the best soup I’ve ever had.The spring rolls were crisp and sooo good with the sauce and so adored my Boba Pina Colada! “Staff usually friendly and helpful, however, my cashier was very deadpan and seemed very disinterested in any interaction or comments on purchase. Grant it busy before the holiday and he also has to size people up. Seemed the same with the person behind me. But overall a fine experience”
