“Obsessed with this place. If you've been looking to get away from fast fashion while trying to buy things with more longevity in combination with designer items, you NEED to peruse here. The prices are shockingly decent, and they have a TON more options than you would ever think. And if you're like me & need to see specific visuals of *how* to style certain items, give them a follow on Instagram. What really sold me was the daily postings of outfits they put together out of the vintage, designer, and/or local brands that they get in on a weekly basis. I know I probably sound like a huge plug/ad for them, but Darling x Dashing is SUCH a breath of fresh air to the Charlottesville area, which is STARVED for current & trendy fashion. I can't believe I waited so long to stop in for the first time a month or two ago.”

“Fabulous shop full of unique and fashionable accessories and clothing. High and low price points for every vintage hunter that’ll make you dream of coming back for more. Couldn’t resist this 70s necklace and wore it the same evening for a wedding. Can’t wait to return!j”

“Always something new to find! I've seen clothing, jewelry, shoes, decor, furniture, dresses, men's clothing, and old records here! They are always taking in new items so you never know what you might find when you visit! The main thing I look for in a shop where it's a grab-bag is cleanliness, friendliness of employees, organization, and assortment!Low has it all!I purchased today a pain of Fillippo Totti jeans 1080s. (pictured)A cute retro 70's one-piece that's groovy for skating with shorts or pants over! (Pictured)And a pair of perfectly worn in size 8 Hi-tec hiking shoes from the 80's as well! (Pictured)The shoes there are phenomenal and they have plenty of unique 30s-60s shoes for dancing, outings, and outdoors!Go check them out! You might find your next favorite piece!”

“I love this place! Rhoda freely gave me a 45 minute consult - she’s a personal stylist and very talented. She knew just what I needed - when I didn’t! She doesn’t pressure you to purchase her items either. I now have the ability to make my wardrobe representative of who I am today. I love this dress!”

“I have donated and worked with Ann & Dawn since the beginning in the midst of Covid. The two sisters are indefatigable and have a shared passion what they want their ultimate store to reflect. They look for quality and sellability in the Charlottesville community and particularly in the surrounding university communities. I am thrilled to be a part of the experience and thank them for both the consignments that they have accepted from me as well as the marvelous purchases I have made in the store. thank you to all the staff.”

“Just an amazing trove of furniture, wall art, dishes, glassware and bric a brac. Everything is reasonably priced and in very good condition. Note that the shop is three separate buildings with their own entrances. Their Insta feed highlights new finds, but things apparently turn over quickly, so if you browse online, hustle down and check it out!”

“Natalie Dressed is fabulous! I legitimately don't understand the negative reviews, and I'm a millennial, so I'm prone to cynicism haha. If you ask what styles/brands/season they're currently taking/sell best, they give great guidance, and I've had lots of luck both consigning and shopping here over the years! Every time I walk in, Cara goes out of her way to say hi! She remembers things I've bought/brought in, and provides a nice shopping experience without feeling like you're in the way even when they're super busy with incoming items! My favorite things I've found here are from: Herno, Johnny Was, Nili Lotan, Madewell, Mother, MISA, Golden Goose, Officine Creative, and some funky well-made but lesser known brands I've discovered while shopping here (typically originally from Eloise/Scarpa).Anywho, one of my absolute favorite spots! Each consignment/resale shop in town has it's own personality, so just figure out what works best at each place and don't take it personally if your items aren't accepted. The backside of this is that as a shopper, you know the items they've curated are in good, clean condition, and are classic or on trend (no junk to sift through) :)”

“This review is for their thrift drop off location just around the corner.I gathered up a ton of shirts, shoes, jackets, books, glasses, and other items I no longer needed and took them to the thrift store location on a Saturday. It was super easy to drop off the items, the folks were extremely kind, and answered all the questions that I had. Getting a receipt for the items donate was quick and easy. They had pads set up for me to be able to complete, get a carbon copy, and have to be able to provide for my tax needs.I like that when I drop something off at the Salvation Army, the likelihood of it, making it back in the local community is very high, so I know that the air fryer that I only used twice will likely find a home and bring somebody much cooking joy.If you're looking for a place to drop off your donate-able, this is definitely a place to consider.”

“After my old review, Scott, the manager, responded and said he would help me out the next day. After bringing back my clothes, a lot more of them were accepted! I really appreciated it, this place has great service. All issues were resolved.Old review: Reviewing off of my experience trying to sell clothes. I had six pairs of jeans, (two of which were Levi’s) five tshirts, a Hollister polo, two pairs of dress shoes, two belts, (one genuine leather) and two pairs of swimming shorts. (One under armor) They only accepted one item, and gave me $3.50. I know that a lot of the clothes were a little wrinkled, but they were all in fair condition or better, most of them good condition. The employees were nice and helpful in explaining things, but they went through my basket in under five minutes. So I’m not sure if this location has new high standard for accepting clothes, mine were poorer quality than I thought, or if it was the employees for this shift. Pretty disappointed, so I’ll have to try again sometime.”
