“Blue whale books is a super aesthetically pleasing bookstore focused on historical and nonfiction literature. The store is organized very well with clear labels and signs designating each area of the bookstore, including the small prints and maps section, which includes original local and country-wide maps. The highlight of this bookstore (for me) was the dollar-shelf where every book was only a dollar. I found two exceptionally interesting books which set me back virtually nothing. The person working the store was helpful in checking out although he expressed disbelief when I tried to pay using American dollar coins (innovation dollar series) which was completely understandable.”

“Just an amazing trove of furniture, wall art, dishes, glassware and bric a brac. Everything is reasonably priced and in very good condition. Note that the shop is three separate buildings with their own entrances. Their Insta feed highlights new finds, but things apparently turn over quickly, so if you browse online, hustle down and check it out!”

“I could have spent hours in this store. What a wonderful blend of the old and new. I went to buy a small hostess gift and ended up with several birthday presents and beautiful small ceramic XMAS trees for myself. Items are reasonably priced and the selection is amazing.”
