“Was on a bike ride from bellows falls to Brattleboro and I got thirsty and hungry. I had to stop mid meal to inform the world that I will do this bike ride again JUST to get their creamline chocolate milk and pulled pork sandwich. Best meal I've had in years. The chocolate milk contains zero gum but a ton of cocoa and cream so it's smooth but not chewy. Why ice cream and milk drinks contain gum I'll never know. But moving onto the pulled pork. I was prone to disappointment when I saw the size of it, but I opened it and it was chock full of tastefully charred pulled pork, melted cheese, perfectly sauteed red onions, and a toasted bun of the highest quality. Seriously the best meal I've had in years”

“It's a wonderful spot to stop and shop. Really great options available for food. They have honey from Northwood apiaries which is some of the best honey I have had.”

“ALDI is wonderful for produce, dairy, unique foods, cheeses and chips. This is my go to for everything. Only down side is sometimes they don't have the same thing twice.”

“I have a fondness for all food coops, and Brattleboro has some incredible deals on bulk foods and allergy friendly items I haven't seen elsewhere. My one complaint is that it is a very confusing store to navigate - the layout is not intuitive and it's hard to see the signage for particular sections from the entrance. But it is well worth the spelunking sometimes required to find what you're looking for.”

“This store gives the vibes of a small country store that fits perfectly in the middle of a small country town. Super friendly people, and all fresh foods with a lot of organic options. Daily sandwiches go fast so you need to arrive before noon. Great option to the chain store, Shaws in town, which is not a great place to shop due to rude employees. Also if you need something that they do not have, they will go out of their way to get it for you.”

“I took my sister there to get her needs and some groceries she couldn't find at a grocery store. I wandered the store. They have a toy area and I got several puzzles and a few other small toys for our grandchildren.”

“Never had issues with this place. It's right down the road from me, and they literally sell everything. Good selection of food, clothes, toiletries, pet food, clothes, yard and home decor, etc. Not everything is high end quality, but do you expect? It's Dollar General, not Macy's. Service has always been good in my experiences and when I need any easy food, cat food, and toothpaste, among other things, it's a great store.”

“Went in the store around 9:15 to purchase some fresh haddock and there wasn't one piece of fish on display in the seafood display....only ice! I would honestly think once youre open for business those things would be all ready for sale.”

“I normally don’t shop here but when I travel up north to Vermont and New Hampshire we go to Hannaford and the food co-op that’s downtown Vermont. They have good variety of different foods you cannot get when you go south. The cheese and meats I buy a lot of because they have a lot better quality then Stop&Shop which is down here in CT.”

“I love Shaw's but the past few weeks Walpole is out of sale products on the first day. I'm thinking of going to the Peterborough Shaw's instead. They always have plenty.”
