“Nov 2023 - I needed a truck to move storage units. I reserved it online. I got there a bit late, but no problem since it was Tuesday. Rob did great checking me in and completing the paperwork. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. We left a vehicle in their parking lot and took off. BUT, not without taking pics of the inside and outside rented moving truck from all angles.We got back early and were greeted promptly by a representative to check it back in. He was quick and efficient completing the transaction in less than 5 minutes. Today was a good experience, but they weren't busy. If you rent over a weekend, go early... just warning ⚠️ you.”

“They were extremely nice. I went in for a U-haul rental & was having trouble with the self service sign in, they invited me in and took over the process on their system to make it far easier, explained everything clearly. We accidentally kept the U-haul a bit longer than our reservation due to a delay which they neglected to charge us for as a courtesy even though they definitely had the right to if they wanted, per the U-haul contract.”

Prices were very reasonable for what we wanted and have been looking for. Location is nice and easy to get to right of 529 between fry and 99. We decided to purchase a spot and will be recommending this place to anyone needing storage or retail warehouse space.”
“This has to be one of the best experiences I had renting a truck. The owner at the facility went out her way to make sure I was taken care of. My dolly wasn’t in the truck I had ordered. She went as far as to have someone bring it to my location. I went to pick it up myself though and she competed me for my mileage due to me having to drive the truck to pick it up during my move. I would definitely recommend this facility to everyone. My only gripe is the actual process of getting the truck through the mobile app was a little jaunting, but overall the experience was top tier!”
“This storage facility is undergoing a face-lift at the moment so don't judge a book by its cover, or at least that's how the saying goes. Recent plans to expand this storage facility to now have outdoor storage lockers available, this is the reason for all the construction that's surely going to turn away some people, but don't let it deter you this family ran storage facility still has the great management running behind the scenes, just contact them via phone and setup a time to meet if you can't see the forest thru the trees, they'll set u up.”

“Awesome service! Very friendly and convenient. Had everything ready to go and covered all information quickly and enthusiastically. Note: this isn’t a u-haul complete service center… it’s a family-owned postal center that handles the usual copying, notary, shipping services plus has a very nice, eclectic assortment of gifts and other household decor, etc. The person who helped me was super friendly and enthusiastic.The fact that you can rent u-haul trucks from a neighborhood strip center like this is amazing! They were less than 2 miles from our home.”
“This is way overdue, but necessary. When my wife and I needed to relocate, unfortunately, out of Texas, I called the owner here about getting a reliable truck and trailer. I informed him of an old experience, not at all related to this establishment, where we received an old truck and trailer that ended up not even being compatible with one another. I asked if there was any way to get a truck and trailer that would be reliable for our 2500-mile trek. His response was to check my reservation and personally go and check his inventory and hold the best truck and trailer. He was kind, professional, and very helpful the day we picked up. I highly recommend this location and appreciate the good experience.”

“We had a problem with coolant leaking in odd places and down stream each time we had the truck fixed. We had our truck towed to Volvo Vanguard Katy and they had the truck diagnosed rather quickly within 36 hours and we are thankful. It was diagnosed at injector failure that let diesel into the coolant system when the diesel fuel eroded the rubber gaskets.
We had the NTP warranty and had a great relationship with the adjuster. On Friday at 3pm the approval came in and we were told to come pickup our truck and The truck should have been released. However there was a discrepancy of -$200.00 due to the injector kit core and a rate differential being off from Volvo/Parts and Josh the service advisor. When we arrived to pay our portion of the truck the service advisor took our CC payment and then found out through NTP that the numbers were off. NTP would not pay out even though it was a negative. I don't blame NTP as they had everything approved as was sent in by Volvo Vanguard. Everyone knew that they would pay out however VOLVO Vanguard Katy would not release my truck, even after my CC payment, after all the paperwork was completed and they knew the truck had to be released because I was begging them to do so days earlier. Josh called David the manager and he stated it was company policy not to release truck without full payment. The truck sat at the shop all weekend and I missed 3 loads at a rate of $4500.00 total. Monday morning the truck was released after the adjuster came in and fixed the paperwork that Volvo should have had right in the first place. I am out $4500.00 and scrapping pennies together to make ends meet because of a clerical error that VOLVO Vanguard Katy should have caught and that they should have released the truck knowing that it was covered through a company that Volvo Vanguard does work with often.
While their mechanic work is awesome there clerical work and Volvo Vanguards policies are off and at the detriment of the Owner operator. For this I CANNOT give a 5 star rating and really went back and forth on weather they deserved a 3 star due to the selfish act of holding a truck they knew was going to be paid in full and was a clerical error on their part.
The truck has been on the road for 48 hours and is work and driving amazing. I thank the mechanic for his hard work and diligence.”
“One way 20’ truck was clean, new, low miles and worked as it should. The owner was very helpful and kind. The moving blankets were clean and sanitary and the appliance dolly was nearly new as well. They have everything here including storage.”
