“Went to go see Deadpool yesterday in 3D and had a great experience! Usually I'm not a fan of 3D movies, but the picture quality was incredible. Some theaters like Alamo (as much as I love that place) have the volume set so loud that it distorts the audio to some degree. Cinemark has never had that issue.

Snack selection is what you'd expect from any movie theater. They even have beer and wine selections available.

The newer recliners they installed are comfortable and well kept.”

“Let me start by saying I immediately fell in love with the venue when we toured it with Marlana. The outdoor cocktail area is gorgeous and exactly what I imagined. The indoor waiting area is a plus and was perfect for my family that loves to arrive very early to events. The reception area is spacious and gorgeous. We booked it immediately after leaving!

We decided to purchase the in-house coordination package, and our wedding coordinator, Marlana, was absolutely amazing!! She made sure everything was perfect! We moved out of state 3 months before our wedding, and she managed to make the planning process run so smoothly. As the bride, I can say I didn't run into any issues (or at least know of any) because the team took care of EVERYTHING.

The day of the wedding, the entire team was kind, patient, and offered suggestions to make sure everything looked beautiful. I remember walking up to the reception room and audibly gasping because of how beautiful it was.

My husband and I were pampered the entire day, and we're still not over it. Our wedding day was an absolute dream come true!

“I got married here in May 2024 and the venue itself is just stunning. The property is well-manicured, simple, and beautiful. I loved how this was a sort of "blank canvas" venue that I could really make match my style. After booking, some things switched around in management and it became difficult to reach the venue and I was starting to feel like maybe booking PH had been a mistake, until Lucy Stenhouse stepped in as my venue coordinator and absolutely blew me away with her positive attitude and helpful and willing spirit. She restored my excitement in wedding planning and seriously went above and beyond to make sure I felt confident in PH. I was so fond of her that by the time the wedding came around, I was bummed she wasn't attending as a guest. She was so responsive (responded within the hour) and made it beyond clear that she was in my corner and cared about my wedding. She also went out of her way to turn my attitude about PH around after I felt like I was not getting what I paid for from them, and she isn't even local to Austin. All in all, I was very glad to have booked Prospect House because it was stunning and once the miscommunications due to management changes were cleared up, I got top-notch service from them. But more so, I feel lucky that I got to work with Lucy Stenhouse -- she is the type of person you cross your fingers and hope for when hiring a vendor team and I hope I have the pleasure of crossing paths with her again.”

“We recently had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at this incredible venue, and we cannot recommend it enough! From the very beginning, Morgan and Sandy were exceptionally easy to work with, always going above and beyond to accommodate our needs and desires. We had a day-time wedding, which meant a morning set-up, and they were so accommodating to this, despite having a wedding the night before that ended at midnight!

Whenever we visited the venue, we were greeted by Sandy, who is helpful, funny and kind. Although we never had the chance to meet Morgan in person, she was incredibly sweet and considerate through email, answering all our questions promptly.

The venue itself is absolutely magical. The flowers and greenery create a stunning backdrop and everywhere you look is so picturesque. The adorable animals added a unique charm. We brought apples and carrots for guests to feed the animals, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

Many of our guests told us that our wedding was the best they've attended. We believe that the beauty of the property played a significant role in making our day so memorable.

Rambling Rose Ranch exceeded all our expectations and made our wedding day truly unforgettable. We are incredibly grateful for Morgan and Sandy and cannot recommend them enough!”

“Little disappointed they sold RV spots for Hays Livestock Show and the didn’t close off parking, which caused access to RV spots to be blocked, some people had to wait 30 min to 3 hours until cars were moved to allow RV access. The email sent said there would be a water hook up 50 feet away but that was only for the other sites so generic outdated info. Showers were closed and then opened but cleaning caused them to close in the evening again after the show when on site people would need access.”

“We've been members of RP Country Club for 3 years and we love it. The staff are excellent and great at making you feel welcomed. We've rented various rooms for different events and had wonderful service and food. We really love everyone there, but especially Kelsey and Enrique. Enrique is a fabulous chef, and Kelsey makes some great drinks! The golf course is difficult, but so beautiful!”

“PSR was the first venue I looked at online, and I immediately knew it was special. It hit all the marks for what I needed: beautiful outdoor spaces, both indoor/outdoor options, can accommodate a large wedding size, great bad-weather options, and (the best) drink donkeys! Most importantly for me, it was a peaceful and gorgeous blank slate for me to add all the unique flares and vendors I envisioned.Brittany was my coordinator and she was awesome! Super responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond both in the planning process and during the actual event.Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful, inviting, and comfortable the venue was. My favorite comment I heard was “It just feels so good here, I don’t want to leave!”There were the cutest/coolest sophisticated and ranchy spots both in the outdoor spaces and indoor spaces that our guests loved hanging out at and snapping photos at. We had a great time taking photos in the natural grasses but enjoyed the manicured ceremony site.PSR knows what they’re doing and they know the business. “It was an enjoyable time- great views. All of staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the doorman, Elvis.The spa services were good. However, if guests are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to spa treatment. May I suggest the spa open 30 minutes early or begin scheduling appointments 30 minutes after opening.Rooms: May consider updating room decor including adding streaming services.Nearby activities: Might consider partnering with golf course for guests.Walkability: Enjoyed morning walks through the hills of the nearby neighborhood.”

“We stayed in the Juniper treehouse and really enjoyed our time. It is very adventurous vibe and exactly what I was hoping for when we booked the place. The bathrooms are a small walk away, but nothing major and as others mentioned they are well maintained. The pool was cool too. They do a great job here.

A few things people may want to know. It definitely is loud from the road noise at the juniper and willow. You’ll notice it’s not that far from Hwy 71. We were hearing cars and trucks all through the day and night. It’s not like honking and sirens loud, but you do hear the road noise pretty clearly. Also, if you are there when other people are staying in the neighboring treehouse it can be a little frustrating if they keep their lights on late at night as this glows right into the window. I took a picture, this was around 11 at night. I’m not sure how to combat this as they provide blinds and everyone is there to enjoy themselves, but I was hoping to feel a little more distanced from night lights being in nature. It was not a problem the first night when no one was in the neighboring treehouse. The staff is great though, anything we needed they were quick and helpful.

All in all a great trip and fun times. If you are looking for something super secluded, this probably wouldn’t be the best spot. I am unsure if the more expensive treehouses have the road noise and light issue.”

“Absolute horrible experience with this hotel. I stayed there two nights. I paid the first night through Expedia and the second one at the hotel. The next day they charge me for a third night. And when I contacted them, they inform me that they would give me a refund for the extra night that I was charged. However, not only did that not happen I was charged again for another night. I have been waiting for a call from Victoria for five days now and I still have not heard from her. I now have two additional charges on my account and haven’t seen zero refund and have had zero response from Victoria the general manager. They caused my accounts to bounce and extra fees removed. BEWARE FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD”
