“We used this venue to host our informal wedding rehearsal dinner and it was PERFECT! Teresa was wonderful to work with, helping us procure some obscure Chicago alcohol, helping us set up AV in record time, and generally being a lovely host.”

“Stone House Ranch is absolutely beautiful and we could not have found a better venue to have our wedding! There are many options for ceremony sites, and a beautiful bridal suite and grooms house on the property. There are also cabins you can rent which was so helpful to have on wedding night. Rachel is so kind, easy to communicate with and was very helpful in making our day exactly how we wanted it. She was prompt to reply to all of our questions throughout the planning process, and kept us updated on any changes regarding weather contingency plans, burn bans (for use of the fire pit and sparklers), etc. She was also very accommodating to our wants/needs to make sure everything was perfect! Our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and are still talking about it! I highly recommend this venue for your wedding!”

“This place is magic. Surrounded by nature - From the moment you wake up - I saw a fawn through the bathroom window, a fox from the kitchen window, to the horses who are your neighbors. We had such a wonderful time having a beer on the balcony and watching the sun go down. We loved the peace and quiet and woke up with a smile every day. Thank you for hosting us and giving us this special moment in time.”

“Our wedding weekend in Dripping Springs (especially at Hill Country Casitas) was nothing short of perfection. The picturesque setting, cozy accommodations, and impeccable service made our stay truly memorable. Special thanks to Claire, whose attentiveness and warm hospitality added an extra layer of care to our celebration. Highly recommend this charming space for anyone looking for a retreat in the heart of the Texas Hill Country!”

“Little disappointed they sold RV spots for Hays Livestock Show and the didn’t close off parking, which caused access to RV spots to be blocked, some people had to wait 30 min to 3 hours until cars were moved to allow RV access. The email sent said there would be a water hook up 50 feet away but that was only for the other sites so generic outdated info. Showers were closed and then opened but cleaning caused them to close in the evening again after the show when on site people would need access.”

“I attended my cousin's wedding at Prospect House one weekend in May. It was my first time in Dripping Springs, Texas, and my first time at this venue. The venue was very clean and modern. I can see why couples select this venue for their wedding, as it really is a blank slate to make it your own. The highlight for me was definitely the wall of flowers where the cocktail hour was held. I loved the open airiness of the space with the reception being primarily indoors and the ceremony outdoors.Luckily, the Texas hillside was in full spring bloom for flowers and colors, making for a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony. I could see how in the later months of summer, when everything starts to dry out, it would turn more into a golden wheat color, which may or may not be your style. My only qualm with the space, and I do not know if this is for every event, was that there was only one bar station, which resulted in extremely long wait times and lines.”

“Hudson's on Mercer is your quintessential neighborhood bar – neither exceptional nor disappointing. If you're looking for a spot to catch a football game, it does the job, but it won't wow you. Hence, it comfortably earns its 4 out of 5 stars. One of Hudson's redeeming features is its willingness to broadcast sports events. It's an average bar for watching football; the screens are decent-sized, and they make an effort to create a game-day atmosphere. If you're with friends who love sports, it's a decent choice.Live music is another facet of Hudson's charm. It adds a bit of pizzazz to the otherwise laid-back atmosphere. While the tunes are enjoyable, they can get a tad loud, making conversation a challenge. One drawback is the lighting – it's way too dark. Perhaps they're aiming for a cozy ambiance, but it often feels like you need a flashlight to read the menu. It's an odd choice, considering it's primarily a sports bar. When it comes to drinks and food, Hudson's plays it safe. The menu offers the usual suspects without any particularly unique options. However, they execute these staples well, ensuring you won't leave disappointed. In a nutshell, Hudson's on Mercer is a reliable but unexceptional bar. It won't stand out in a city teeming with nightlife options, but it's not a place you'd regret visiting either. If you're looking for a no-frills spot to unwind with friends and catch a game or enjoy some live music, Hudson's fits the bill perfectly. Hence, the 4-star rating – it's nothing special, but it's far from a letdown.”

“I recently attended Vista West Ranch for a wedding. There were a lot of out of town guests and everyone who worked there was so accommodating! The venue is absolutely stunning!! The property is one of the most beautiful in the hill country, and everyone really enjoyed themselves. The bride and groom were over the moon about the whole experience. If you want a beautiful place with a lot of inclusions this is for you. You won't be disappointed!”

“We hosted our dream three-day wedding weekend at Lucky Arrow in November and cannot say enough good things about the facilities, staff, and services! We did an entire weekend buy-out from Thurs-Sunday and had about 100 people stay on site with us. Thank you, especially to Rachel and Serena who helped us navigate the planning process from start to finish! If you want to dream up your perfect wedding, this venue provides a blank slate-- with multiple different areas to choose from (lookout, rooftop, event space, tree grove) you can really piece together your wedding day just as you want it. During the non-wedding time, your guests can enjoy cocktails by the pool, firepits, hot tubs, and hang out in the beer garden. Everyone said it was the best wedding they've ever been to!! #FLACKFEST would not have been the same without Lucky Arrow <3”

“Stayed here for a much needed getaway weekend. This was my first experience here and I can not say anything bad about it. The rooms are charming and accommodating, the staff was amazing, and the beautiful peaceful setting is super. The property itself is gorgeous with plenty of places to stop you to take a selfie. To top it all off there were wild deer greeting us this morning. We stayed in the treehouse and the groomsman suite and both rooms were immaculate. The treehouse room had huge picturesque windows and all the amenities that you would need. The groomsman suite is actually pretty perfect with additional seating an arcade machine and a great patio. Looking forward to coming back again and getting even more great photos.”
