However, not only was the turnaround time a few days (rather than the two weeks I was initially quoted) the piece was absolutely perfect. Edges smoothed as I had asked for, carefully wrapped, and they offered me the remainder of the cut piece. I declined, since I couldn't think of a use for it and I knew they would be able to use it. The women I spoke to several times, Sydney, was very kind, pleasant, and knowledgeable. The size is perfection and I am happy I went with the 1/4" thickness as was recommended. Good move Sam's!Ordered a tire last week and they said they would call when it came in to schedule an appointment for installation. No one called. I tried to call and make an appointment because I called customer service and they said my tire was in. The phone lines were too busy for someone local to answer. I went to the same store to try and schedule an appointment. I waited at the desk for about 15 minutes without anyone coming out.So I called Sam's store itself to try and get someone to help me. The phone rang for about 9 minutes without anyone answering. Finally someone answered and they walked over to the tire department and had to get the service agent to come out and help me. He was the only one in the department.They may be having trouble finding people to work installing tires but they should at least have someone at the desk to help members.”
