“You're at the Highland shops and you've just had a yummy dinner. Now it's time to browse Daiso and buy to your heart's content. Daiso is a Japanese gift shop that is endlessly entertaining to peruse, and always open late. You never know what you're going to find: cutlery with cat head handles, a giant stuffed shark, square nesting cereal bowls, nail polish for a dollar. You will find things you didn't know you needed!”

“I fall in love with Marshall's more and more every time I go in one. I'm amazed I didn't shop here until I was in my 50s. They have a great selection and great prices. It's like a treasure hunt each time I go in.”

“I wish this store had more stock. Chellise customer service was everything(5 Star). After Covid a lot of places have fallen off & customer service lacks almost everywhere now . Thank you Chellise for helping me & my family fulfill our large order for giving back!”

“It's like a furniture store with sections of shelves on the sides. It's clean and well organized. The prices are reasonable and with a card they're affordable. I love that they stock items you can't always find in other stores.”

“This place is a treasure trove! Items shoved every which way for shoppers to sift through. Most things cost more than I would pay, but that's part of finding treasure in the hunt. I found a big ole bag of Macadamia nuts for only $10.99. Sure they smell like plastic from sitting on the shelf for too long, so I have to transfer them to a glass container after airing out, but definitely worth it. With more time and patience, I'll come back to go treasure hunting for my nest. Please don't be fooled my the long check out lines- they move quickly. And there's a great selection of items so even the most store-phobic family members can have a bit of time exploring.”

“I went to chuck out some jewelry on black Friday. There were 3 ladies working the department. 1 was helping a customer. The other 2 ladies sat and chatted for a while before 1 said she was leaving for break. The lady that was leaving for break decided to ask if I've been helped a we made sure contact as she passed me. She did help me with pricing and purchasing my earrings once I had her attention. 5 stars would be offering service once a customer shows interest in anything in the department. The customer can always say they don't need the assistance if that's the case. But offering assistance and chatting with coworkers instead can cause missed sale opportunities. I love my new 14k earrings though! ?”

“If you have a Sam's Club Card use it to get your gas. For some reason my 20 yr old van does better and gets better mileage than any other place including Walmart gas.”

“During the summer, I ordered a printer + backup ink via curbside pickup. Four months later, the starter ink finally needed replacing and then realized I bought the wrong size ink cartridges. Target Cust Service tried to do the swap and it said printer ink was ineligible for store refund after so many months due to time passed. I wanted to kick myself but then she said Target allows a once a year in store credit up to $100 and that worked and solved my dilemma! Thankfully they had the ink I needed in stock. Super grateful for this Target policy that saved me in the midst of working on important documents at home. Thank you Target Customer Service Lady for finding a solution when I needed it most!”

“The Tech Ridge JC Penney location is always clean, and the merchandise is well organized. But what I really like about the store is the employee attention to customer service. I specifically want to call out Adrian Baldwin for his assistance at theTech Ridge store that was a step above.RLL”

“Enjoyed a festive VIP Christmas Shopping Night at Dillard's Barton Creek by winning the first gift basket raffle of the night. The invitation only event with special store hours with the staff dressed up in Sunday best was nice touch by the store. My wife got to find clothes to her liking with additional staff assistance. It kind of felt like one of those classic movies and you're shopping for a special person with everyone being excited that Christmas is near.”

“I would say I can't believe it took me so long to write a review for this store but I can because I swear I black out as soon as I pull into their parking lot. Love isn't strong enough a word for my feelings but if it's any indication of my affinity, I worked here part time for a little while a couple years back strictly because I was in there so much and I wanted the discount and to be closer to the products. I highly recommend this location because it has one of the best selection of products across all categories I've seen in this type of discount store and it's getting better and better. I primarily go for skincare now and you can find korean and japanese products that used to have to be ordered from over seas. I know a lot of people talk down on these types of stores saying the products you find here are at or close to expiration. But let me tell you that's not the case. Can it happen? Yes. But it's also happened to me buy products from Ulta. Like anything and anywhere, you have to be a diligent shopper. Also, patience is key when shopping here. I can spend HOURS roaming, sifting through products and redoing it again and again. And it pays off more often than not. On my most recent trip I spent $168 but I came away with a lot of products to add to my already extensive skincare routine. But I really saw the payoff when I got home and price checked my products. Almost all of them I got for more than half off the retail price! Most impressive was Perricone MD moisturizer I bought for $20. Turns out it costs $186 on Amazon and the Perricone website. There was also a serum that was on sale for $7 but it was $44 on the korean website I like to buy products from. And NOTHING was even close to expiration. Most of them expire in 2026. I know times are still a bit rough for everyone, so if you need to satisfy a bougie part of your personality or just pamper your tired soul treat yourself here. It'll ensure you get your money's worth. Also keep in mind that TJ Maxx, Marshall's and Home Goods are all under the same parent company so the price points a very similar. And what you find at TJ Maxx you'll more than likely be able to find it (or complimentary products) at Marshall's. So if you want a whole line of skincare or an outfit from the same brand head to toe, I'd recommend checking both.”

“This place has an ever changing assortment of goods. Always a great idea to stop in. The staff here is fantastic and keeps the chaos in order somehow.Checkout process can be. Slow but there is so much to look at with the grab and go's”

“December 2023:I forgot how amazing HomeGoods was where when you walk inside a huge chocolate and snack section grabs your eye. They have high quality products not found elsewhere and from all over the world. I only came here to purchase one item, wicker basket used as a small trash bin, but ended up filling it up with goodies. I was able to find the mother load for holiday gifts. It was fun to walk around and explore the place. I even found a huge wicker Jeep. The only down side was checking out where there seemed to have a long line that slowly crawls. It was not that they enough cashiers but people were buying a lot of items.Once I was checked out I felt satisfied to find not what I needed but surprise items for gift giving.”

“Has a good selection of items! Only thing is that some prices are a bit high so you have to really look for the good stuff. Also do keep in mind that a lot of the food things are there because they are soon to expire.”

“I had to pick up a gift for new years since it wasn't available elsewhere. I was surprised how small the crowd was on a Saturday afternoon. There was still plenty to find in store in the after Christmas clearance section. I was surprised as other locations would have been cleared out by then!. Not sure if this location is quite like this often, but I will plan come by when I don't want to deal with the Georgetown crowds.”

“Love the affordable clothing! Wish they had a wider selection of boys shoes though :( also why every-time I go there must people be thieving. NOT SAFE for the customers.”

“Picked up a large rug this weekend! Staff we interacted with were exceptional. The person that brought down the rug and wrapped it up for us was friendly and professional. Then the cashier was great. She helped us with some bags to line our rental van and also let us know that if we needed more to just ask. She offered all that with a smile and a level of friendliness that I haven’t experienced at home goods before! Thank you Catherine!!!We transported our rug with a Home Depot rental van for 19.99 for 75mins and it was incredibly easy and efficient! We lucked out and found the right style rug made from the fibers we had been searching for. Wow!”
