“This is a hidden gem. The outside looks like one of those rough(ish) hotels in the side of the highway, but it is anything but. Mike checked us in, gave us a good rundown of things around that we could do and recommended a great place for dinner. The room was spacious and had a relaxing rustic vibe. We sat outside of our room on the rocking chairs and enjoyed the weather. The location was fantastic, 12 minutes from Cades Cove. While there were still a decent amount of people, it was very quiet. I'd definitely stay here again!!”

“Great staff, clean rooms, and beautiful view from the pool. We loved our family vacation here!

Nearby activities: Peaceful side social is always a plus! Great fishing with easy access to the Little River. Hiking around the Tremont Institute is close and not as busy.”

“Our 2nd time here 2 years in a row and this brought our kids - Beautiful small river front location and walking distance to so many cute local places - Wendy is such a great host - go walk to a riverfront trail or dive into the smokey mountains to go hiking along waterfalls or rivers or skiing. A relaxing sweet place.”

“Location is excellent. Breakfast bar is outstanding, and the man who tends to it is an extremely personable fellow who has a great deal of pride in his work. Location, and the Breakfast are what keep me coming back.
Our rooms floors were not particularly clean.
The pool was out of order. As a matter of fact, although I have stayed at this Best Western many times, I don't recall the pool ever being in working order. In the case of this visit my 9 year old granddaughter was greatly disappointed.

Nearby activities: Next door to Smokey Mountains. Very near the entrance of Cades Cove, the main reason we stay here.

Walkability: There is a nice walking track that parallels the highway for several miles.

Food & drinks: Dining (other than breakfast)can be challenging for some.”
