“Bought a Volvo XC60 online from New Jersey. (not my finest moment) The alternator was draining the battery and upon further investigation found it not even bolted to the motor and further investigation revealed the bolts were broke off into the block. Called around several places and eventually someone told me about Smisco. Richard told me if I could get the car to him he'd take a look. Folks, he fixed the issue and when he called to tell me I was waiting for the bad news on payment. Low and behold, it was a very reasonable cost. He said if i have any more issues with anything to give him a call. He's my guy for my Volvo. Great customer satisfaction!!”

“This business has been around since I was a kid. I had never used them before, but comments through the grapevine has consistently been great!!Recently I took my Chevy silverado in because in a matter of 30 minutes it shut down several times, barely moving while accelerator was floored.Ron Archers, like normal, was busting busy with cars to work on. I left it with them understanding it might be 3 days before it could be seen.On the 3rd day there I called to inquire if they'd had a chance to look at it. They were very polite and said they were looking at it and it ran idle fine. Alternator and everything looks ?. He said they had not driven it. I asked "would u take it out on a drive. Thats when it cut off. " After I got oow I called back.""Yes mam. I'm just getting back from driving it. Drives great! We can't find anything wrong with it. I dropped it off at 7:30am and it was ready in less than two hours. This was in stark contrast to my experience with the business I first took my car to for the alignment. I chose that shop because they are part of a well known chain and more convenient to me. The difference in service between that first business and Winchester Tire is 180 degrees apart. I wasted my time and money at the first place and my car was still not aligned properly. “I called around to several shops needing a transmission rebuild for my 2016 Yukon SLT and most shops told me that it would take at a minimum a week to repair it, but more likely, two weeks. I called Greg at the AAMCO shop on Winchester and he guaranteed he could get it to me within in a week so I decided to take it to that shop. I dropped off my vehicle on Thursday morning and I got a call Friday, around noon the next day, telling me that it was ready. I was pleasantly surprised by the fast turn around and to boot, all employees there were professional and they treated me like I mattered! Great experience and I highly recommend this shop!!”
