“JILL & DAVE FOR PRESIDENT!The facility is clean & well-kept. Same with the equipment I rented (a 10-foot truck plus an auto transporter).That's all just standard stuff you expect from a company like U-Haul.What set this experience apart for me, however, is the incredible staff.I had to pleasure of working with Jill, Dave, & Charles.All three were extremely friendly, warm, & helpful. They each, in their own ways, went above & beyond to help me during this pick-up.Jill & Dave especially need to be recognized.Jill is very good about explaining, in plain English, what to expect, how to avoid late fees, what I must do as the customer, what they must do as a company, etc. She broke it all down for me neatly & clearly.As a bonus, Jill is quite funny, too.I had never loaded a vehicle onto a transporter before. Had no clue what I was doing.The company tells employees they cannot load your vehicle for you (for liability reasons). I get that.Jill & Dave talked me & walked me through the process, step by step. They directed me as I drove my car up the ramps. It was raining that day & my rear-wheel drive tires were spinning at the top part of the ramp.Dave was quick to grab a couple of moving blankets to lay down as traction for my rear wheels.Worked perfectly!My car has a very low profile. My front bumper was going to be damaged by the front of the ramp but Jill found some pieces of plywood to use as blocks.Once again, worked perfectly!Jill & Dave make a superb team. They enjoy what they do & they are both very good at what they do.They took care of me from start to finish - I would have been at a complete loss without their help.Future customers - if you are going to rent from the Heckle Blvd location make sure you schedule your appointment during a time when Jill & Dave will be there, trust me on this! They work morning shifts, FYI.U-Haul - I have been using you for years & will continue to do so.Area for improvement: I made my reservation, in person, at a different location than Heckle Blvd. The gentleman was very helpful. However, he said that whichever location I end up picking up my rental, the workers there will have blocks/wood to help me load my low-profile vehicle & whichever location I drop off at, the workers there will also have blocks/wood to help me unload.This simply was not true. I just lucked out with Jill & Dave being so helpful & happening to have wood that they gave me to keep.”
