“City Art is by far the best gallery in the Columbia, SC area. They have a large selection of beautiful art, much of it by local artists. And they do an outstanding job with framing! I had a 25x36 wood print that just didn't quite look right. I took it to them to see what they could do with it. Heather stained the edges and Wendy recommended a narrow black frame. The print was transformed from "meh" to "wow!" I've also purchased some original art from them and had other framing done. Everyone in the gallery is friendly, knowledgeable, and talented. I highly recommend them.”

“If you are leaving from Charlotte to head to this area it is 1 1/2 hours away. Give yourself time. It is in the center of a college campus. Very orderly and parking was easy. Expect to be surrounded by a younger crowd. Great people watching spot.”

“Great experience, but I believe they’re moving locations that’s why their calendar for the upcoming month is blank. I assumed the calendar paint & sip was in a separate location from the freestyle but it wasn’t. Shane was awesome and made my first painting experience a pleasure. He instructed and gave time to paint without rushing which allowed us to enjoy and chat with friends and family. I hope to visit them again.”

“The grounds could have been landscaped better. There were a lot of dead appendages and a LOT of just plain old weeds.The house was gorgeous. People kept moving the flimsy chain with the sign attached telling them not to go upstairs during events, mostly kids I saw.Parking, since it was Saturday, was no problem.”

“I wasn’t planning on leaving a review, but tonight’s service was just so great. Shelby, our server at the Bull St. location, checked on us a ton, suggested great things, was knowledgeable of the menu, & answered all of our questions, was SO kind and sweet, which makes you feel like it’s not just a transaction. That is so appreciated. I felt like I was talking to a girl friend! It started drizzling outside and we just wanted to wrap it up and go home, but she quickly accommodated us to go inside so we could still enjoy ourselves. I think this is going to be my weekly Sunday spot with my friend and my dog, and will be asking for Shelby each time. Also, shoutout to the other servers, I didn’t catch their names, who went out of their way to turn the heaters outside for us when it got a bit chilly.Vegetarian options: Great backup options to the things already on the menu, so you’re not confined to just a salad.Dietary restrictions: My friend is gluten & dairy free and Shelby was super accommodating & made sure to suggest great dishes for those!”

“This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in! The place is beautiful and clean! The rooms are modern and well decorated. The room we stayed in had so many cool touches I was getting ideas for our own home! They have a ton of amenities the pool was nice and the pool area was clean and orderly and they have towels for you there.The work out room is right there and has a nice array of weights and equipment. I even noticed they had an office space with a computer and printer if you need it. The breakfast buffet is included and looked as beautiful as the pictures. my husband wasn’t feeling well so he was able to get gingerale and a yogurt parfait for breakfast. The breakfast and front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I also loved that they have a little pantry in the lobby if you want a bottle of wine or snack. In the morning the cleaning staff stopped by to ask if we needed anything which was very nice. They have thought of everything! I highly recommend this hotel and I hope we can come again soon! “We booked a block of rooms for our soccer team for two consecutive weekends. Kelly was very helpful setting up the block, following up with number of reservations, and reminding us of deadlines. Becky worked the front desk both weekends and was extremely helpful and friendly. She remembered our names from each visit, had rooms ready early for us on a particularly cold, wet day, and accommodated all special requests. Becky literally handed us our keys as we walked in wet, cold and loaded down with bags, no wait at all to check in. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great, the breakfast room was a great gathering spot in the evenings, and the location very convenient. Thank you so much!”
