Very beautiful place. Had a very peaceful energy. The staff was amazing as well.

The grounds could have been landscaped better. There were a lot of dead appendages and a LOT of just plain old weeds.The house was gorgeous. People kept moving the flimsy chain with the sign attached telling them not to go upstairs during events, mostly kids I saw.Parking, since it was Saturday, was no problem.

From Seibels House & Garden
Dating to 1796, and often mentioned in 19th- and 20th-century travelogues for its architecture and beautiful gardens, the Seibels House is believed to be the oldest remaining house in Columbia. Today, it serves as the administrative office for Historic Columbia and functions as a popular venue for private events and weddings.
