“Costco pumps dispense either regular or premium gas, but not mid grade. My BMW requires mid grade or premium. We find Costco’s price for premium gas is the same or better than mid grade at other stations. There’s often a long line at the pumps on the weekends so you may want to fill up during the week. Either way, there’s an attendant on duty and you can expect a pleasant experience.”
7AM - 10PM
1401 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Charleston“If youre going here for a pub sub, Don knows what he is doing. Am i exaggerating saying he is a master of his craft? No, in fact i think that does not even do his skill justice. His attention to detail and meticulousness guaranteed the best sandwich experience I have had in recent memory. If i could leave 6 out of 5 stars, I would”
“Sadly, I did not catch her name but the girl who works in the deli section (5/9 @ 3:30) deserves a raise! She mentioned over the phone she’s worked there for a little over a year. She called to tell me that something I ordered ahead online wasn’t available and asked if I wanted a substitute. I remember dealing with her in-store a few months ago and both my husband and I mentioned how kind and thorough she was at her job. It’s so hard to find good employees these days that actually take pride in their job let alone have good customer service skills. Do whatever you have to do to keep her around! She is management material.”
“Thankful for Stephen at the checkout line! He has a great attitude and showed charisma in every step of the transaction from the greeting, to bagging, and wishing me a blesssed day. More people should be like Stephen!”
6AM - 11PM
290 E Bay St, Charleston“Unequivocally the best supermarket in downtown Charleston SC, particularly if one's visiting & wishes to secure some beverages & snacks for explorations of the city ?️ itself. It's generally open 24 hours yet it's advisable to call 'cause there are cleaning & restocking activities. Always has parking.”
“This mom and pop store is a little Aladdin’s cave of spices, herbs, remedies, and a large variety of canned, dried, frozen and fresh produce; everything you may need for a meal inspired by the cuisines of the Indian subcontinent. These folks are also super friendly, always up for a chat about food or philosophy, if you feel like it.”
“Their is a great place for bulk food products at a great price. They have a great selection of meat primal cuts and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Every spice you could need and tons of frozen seafood.
They also sell good priced tools and equipment for cooking as well as pots and pans.
You can get deli containers.”
“Lucked upon this place thinking I was going to a convenient store. Stayed for ĺunch. Very cute, great service and delicious food. I'll be going back or sure.”
“oh how I love Burbages! It is a constant stop for us when either walking or driving home! We always grab a hot dog and or their homemade chicken salad. The people are always so sweet and helpful. It's the cutest little place but feels like home inside. We also love their Brunswick stew.”
10AM - 7PM
36 N Market St, Charleston“Great selection of hot + bbq sauces. The possibility to try all of them it's a huge plus before committing to the purchase. The hottest sauces are a bit pricey, $19.99 but if you like a good firey sauce, this place don't disappoint.”
6AM - 11PM
675 Folly Rd, Charleston“The ladies restroom is dirty. There is mold growing on the sink faucets. You have to touch the paper towel holder with your clean hands to get one if it is not hanging out. The handicap toilet will not even flush the paper. The middle toilet has black mold growing in the bowl. We have shopped here since it has opened 30 years ago. Please clean the restroom!!!!!”
“Hey Y’all - The Pirate Hunter’s Food Review is back with another hidden local gem for a 5 star review! This little convenience store / restaurant combo is legit good home cookin’. Nothing over the top or super crazy fancy, but simply a master of the basics. Take for example this bragel (breakfast bagel) for example. Perfectly grilled crisp bacon & over medium eggs with American cheese on an everything bagel. A true power breakfast sammich right here on the go post ruck. If you don’t know me - I do 24 hr ruck challenges so food is important in fueling performance. In addition to this bragel, I’ve had the seasoned French fries which are great and the burger is like having a good backyard grill out without having to cook or do dishes! All in all - This little neighborhood spot is a great hidden gem to grab on the go or order with UberEats! With 3.2M Views and Exploding - Follow Me here and on the gram @justinmyerspiratehunter as I hunt great restaurants and food across America!”
7AM - 11PM
1291 Folly Rd, Charleston“Nice, clean, well stocked, and nicely organized shelves and displays. However, occasionally, the produce leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the best prices in the area. Tasty wing bar at lunchtime. Nearly all the employees I passed greeted me.”
10AM - 6:30PM
96 Spring St, Charleston“Its a cute little store with local food . I unfortunately cane on the one day they didnt get shipments so they had no yogurt, but i got chocolate milk and cheese instead. The produce is great and i was SHOOKITH at how cheap it was. I would recommend going here”
“I saw kids just being kids in this store and I saw two different employees be so KIND and help parent’s out by trying to make the kiddos laugh when they were having melt downs. and even heard one worker say to a mom “ you are doing a great job” that is just incredible because I can only imagine a grocery store is such a stress full place for a parent and I bet that meant a lot to that parent.”
7AM - 11PM
2144 Savannah Hwy, Charleston“As Food Lions go, this one is pretty good. Clean and well stocked for the most part. Staff is friendly and helpful. Clientele can get a little interesting at times, but not as much as a lot of other stores.”
“Did not ship here, but I did park in the parking lot to make out with a girl I met. Not a lot of public places on Daniel's Island to perform PDAs in private. No nosey shoppers, no manager or police knocking on the window. If the gal had been a bit less on the "hefty" side, I could have given the store 5 stars.”
6:30AM - 10PM
630 Skylark Dr E, Charleston“Service workers in the Food Court always have a bad attitude. I hate that. If you're not happy and fulfilled with your job, go find new employment. Don't take it out on me. Very unprofessional! The hot food is very good and worth purchasing.”
6AM - 10PM
1985 Folly Rd, Charleston“At one time, Harris Teeter was grocery royalty. The King of Produce, Duke of Frozen Food, Countessa of Butchery, but I haven't seen one in years. It was nice to see one, not only functional, but thriving. Great selection, not terrible prices for the beach.”
7AM - 10PM
1411 Folly Rd Ste 100, Charleston“I don't always shop here but I ordered there for year for a party and it was so FRESH! so delicious, everyone is so nice every time I walk in there and you never hear anyone complaining about their job.”
“We passed by this place and decided to check it out. This is a bulk item store with many grocery products and supplies. The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are not full retail, but comparable to Sam's Club. The real gem of this store was the candy room! It was amazing!! Full of many vintage candies and all my current favorites.”
7AM - 10PM
10 Westedge St Ste 100, Charleston“This store was very clean and organized, and I easily found what I was looking for. I truly appreciated how polite and courteous the employees in the checkout line were.”
“All employees are always pleasant and friendly! I love to sing along with the music the store is playing. Almost always have all my grocery items in stock! Love self checkout!!! Pharmacy is awesome as well!!”
9AM - 12AM
949 King St, Charleston“I visit this location quite often. I would say majority of the staff are quite helpful, but there is one person in the deli/bread area that is quite rude and consistently gives bad service.”
9AM - 9PM
1411 Folly Rd Ste 100, Charleston“Visited the relatively new Publix on Folly Road (James Island, SC). The store is well-stocked, clean, and inviting. Staff was pleasant at every turn. Deli, aisles, and checkout. Couldn't have asked for a bette experience.”
“I use IGF for the company I work for and I’ve always had a pleasant experience! First off they have a wonderful selection of products. Chrystal, who handles my orders weekly , is always charismatic, very knowledgeable and diligently helpful! She takes the time to help our business with our orders and any questions we may have!”
“I’ve been attending this store for many years. Being a college student and finding a place friendly and satisfactory is J&W grocery. In all the years I’ve stopped in the store, I’ve never had a negative experience and I’ve been in there probably more times than I can count. Keep up the great work guys!”
“Usually I'm a big fan of there ring sandwiches, however this time mostly bread, very little meat, and tomato. Lettuce is what I expected.
The chocolate hummus dessert platter ( which I fell I love with last holiday season!) I got a call about just as I was almost to the store and they didn't have the hummus, I was so bummed!!! Cancelled that platter.
I enjoyed the unbreded plain wing platter, but it just came in a box, last Superbowl it was a platter from. I couldn't find any unbreded wings flavored when I was looking through the platters of wings, they do have flavored ones but they don't show it on line.
HOWEVER the plain I got where DELICIOUS!!!
I believe in the future I will try the ring sandwiches platter again just not the turkey one, hope it's as good as the first time I got it. Will DEFINITELY BE TRYING TO GET ANOTHER CHOCOLATE HUMMUS DESSERT PLATTER!!!!!! I WAS SO BUMMED LOOKED FORWARD TO IT ALL WEEK!!! Hope I get it !!!”
