“The person in front of me was ordering his groceries when he got there. His server did not instruct him to move his car to the waiting area. I had already received my order and needed to leave. Finally I got out of my car and moved the cones so I could drive around the guy in front of me to leave.”

“Who doesn't love stopping in to Trader Joe's! Some of our all-time favorite snacks and meals come from TJ's. The service is always excellent. Although the parking lot at this location can be hard to find a parking spot, we always have! Outside there are an array of plants. Once you grab a cart and head in, you will find a few specials at the entrance, as well as fresh flowers, and the produce area. We absolutely love the jicama wraps as a replacement for taco shells. The preseasoned and marinated Carne Asada is excellent. the cheese selection can't be beat! We love to pair the cheese with the stores crisps. I posted a picture of the fig and Olive ones, but we have loved all of them. Especially the rosemary ones. We love getting the inexpensive reusable bags as gift cards for people. There is also a great selection of nuts. One of our more recent favorites was the olive and herbs mixed nuts. During the holidays, we love to get the Christmas Jojos. We do not live in Charleston, so we absolutely bring a cooler. But if you do not remember one, they always have insulated bags for sale! Don't forget to snag a few sweet treats. We love the Scandinavian Swimmers.”

“First, the owners are amazing. I have gotten to know Jo and Chad very well. Joanne is super passionate about health, food, local and all things related. She has personally used or tried everything she carries and can answer any questions you may have. The shelves are stocked full of all kinds of natural supplements, vitamins, foods, spices, teas, CBD and Hemp products, Non alcoholic drinks of all kinds and more. I love that I can go there and expect to find things l personally use all the time and also get turned on to new products. They carry local meat, poultry, eggs and lots of amazing dairy and from all over too. A true gem in Charleston!!!!!!”

“My southern friends are always raving about Publix so I guess my expectations for my first visit to one were high. And I while I did really enjoy this market, I didn't think it was anything over the top amazing. But it was solid! We stopped by a couple of times during our trip, including the first night when we came to stock the kitchen in our rental house and my family found everything we needed and then some! The produce was fresh and they had a nice variety, the market was spacious and clean, the frozen section was huge and I picked up 3 pints of a really delicious passion fruit ice cream that I still dream about. I have since learned that the thing to do is hit the Publix deli, which we unfortunately did not do. So perhaps that's what would have knocked this over to 5 stars? But it was definitely a great grocery, whether you live there or are just in town.”

“Had everything i needed the store was nice 4 star because Deborah the cashier was rude and needed an attitude change. If i was rating people her attitude would get a 2*”

“My BF in the whole wide world works there. The nicest staff and a great environment. Food is fresh. The store is well kept. As my BF sings..."My Harris Teeter"...mine too when I am in town.”

“This is one of the better Publix's to shop at because of the friendly staff and you always get welcomed in the door as soon as you walk in. I've been shopping there for about 2 years and it's always been the same Vibe and the same environment and that's greatly appreciated considering there are at least for others shopping stores and plazas around. So the gratitude is very well appreciated and they're always stocked with what you want.”

“Wish they were closer! I buy very selected items that I have tried. I like the lettuce in the 4 pack clamshell, the Brie cheese, and walking and browsing the seasonal aisle is always fun”

“This store is running like a well oiled machine. The easiest and best thanksgiving shopping I have ever done. Thank you to everyone, including the meats and cheese girls. Thank you!”

“Big fan of this Publix! It's my go-to for nibbles and sub sandwiches before hitting up the beach or Pitt street bridge. Can't ever go wrong with a pub sub deal of the day - it's 2 for the price of 1 so perfect when ballin' on a budget. I admire their seasonal ice cream flavors too! Very rich and flavorful. Shopping is certainly a pleasure with this convenient Publix.”

“Such a cute store with so many local products! Whether you’re planning a charcuterie night with your girls & need the supplies or headed to the beach & want to grab some sammy’s and Frosè to enjoy after - Maddex offers everything you could want!!”

“Favorite grocery store! There are always deals and the gas points are next level! The layout of the store is well thought out. Also shout out to their graphic designers because putting the bar code on the TOP of the water bottles is the best! I don't know why companies put it at the bottom of the package so you have to struggle to get to it during checkout. It seems so obvious! Thank you Lowes Foods for making my day easier everytime I go. Also the staff is always nice and helpful feels like a real neighborhood store small town comfort that Mt Pleasant hasn't had in decades”

“That Mount Pleasant South Carolina store sure is a lot better than the whole foods store in Walnut Creek California. The usual overpriced stuff but there's deals, and I mean deals. Yesterday I found huge 30 ounce sized Jason's brand body wash soap for $7.29...,even the air base commissary didn't have that liquid soap that cheap...they also carry some garden of life brand vitamins and minerals..stuff you may order from Amazon..”

“Love this store. Always clean and easy to shop. Whether it's to just run in and pick up something or do a weeks shopping I never worry that I'll wait too long to pay or not find what I need.”

“I have seen my fair share of pharmacies around the world, and I have to say this is my favorite. Joe and his team are professionally very knowledgeable about the medications and healthcare processes surrounding them, and still each time they manage to make it feel like you are walking into a neighborhood pharmacy where people care about your wellbeing. They treat both my parents and children with the same respect and kindness that they show me, and we have had vaccinations there and made it through the pandemic with their support. Thanks for everything!”

“This store has excellent selection of produce, meat, prepared foods, and more. The store is clean and well staffed. Employees are helpful and friendly. I wish I had started shopping here sooner! If you want more real food than "food products", this is where you want to go.”

“Harris Teeter is an upscale supermarket chain with a better shopping experience than some of the other local chains. Brighter lights, nicer flooring, better shopping carts, nicer associates and I think better food too.I've shopped a couple "Teeters" and this is a nice one with all the bells and whistles, including a great deli section, bakery, produce and a good beer and wine section. Prices tend to be a little higher than Wal-Mart but are comparable to Publix.”

“Th store is large enough but it is setup in a very strange way with produce on one side and all the deli section on the opposite side. Meat and seafood is set in the back. However, I have to mentioned Kevin at the deli department. He is friendly, talkative and has the best energy. I stopped in to get a sandwich and he really made my day. That man deserves high praise and a raise. Parking is a big strange as all the spots are at an angle. Great location though if you need to stop in and grab something on your way home.”

“I had a good experience at this Walmart Supercenter, which is the more northern of the two in Mount Pleasant. It's a very large shopping center and they have quite a lot of landscaping throughout, but walkways and cart corrals make it easy to be out of the traffic.Inside, the store is well stocked (at least for what I was seeking) and I had no trouble finding things. Self-checkout worked well and I was on my way swiftly. Restrooms were clean.I've Yelped over 200 Walmarts in the US and Canada yelp.com/collection/iEN8… and this one in Mount Pleasant is a good one.[Review 19439 overall - 1013 in South Carolina - 409 of 2023.]”

“I am from TN, and am here in SC due to a stressful medical issue with my mother. While I was trying to print important legal documents for my mother I ran out of printer ink. I wasn't able to get to the store until less than an hour before closing at 11pm. No one was in the Electronics department, so I searched for an employee to assist me. I found Keesha in the shoe department. She made a store page for someone to assist me. 10 minutes later she came back to check on me. No one had come. She tried to find someone with a key to the ink case; she wasn't able to. I thanked her and proceeded to checkout with other items. I was resigned to the fact that the documents would just have to wait. About 2 minutes later, I heard Keesha calling out to me. She had found keys, and I able to make my purchase that I desperately needed.Keesha was a true blessing! She went "the extra mile" without being asked to and was friendly the whole time. She is a genuine helper of people. Walmart is extremely fortunate to have her as an employee!”

“I'll be honest... I grew up going to this Walmart. Back when it was the hotspot and had Applebee's located next to it. However, trying to do curbside there these days is a joke. People park in the spots for curbside and nothing is done about that. Lots of tourists and rudeness of customers in the store. Still the same place it was 20 years ago, but with a lot more going on. Four stars for the location and people keeping this place alive!”
