“I dreaded shopping for a special occasion dress, but Jan at Botticelli turned it into a wonderful, fun, relaxing and successful day. Beautiful selection and fabulous service!”

“Just a tiny boutique with a big bang! I love this shop because somehow they always have what I don't know I want or need. In the beginning of the summer I got a dress by Choklate/Paris. I got a zillion compliments on it and then I bought another for a dear friends birthday and another for the fall. They have dresses /outfits for daily wear or special events that are super stylish and original. I have also picked up some great jewelry and a poncho for insanely reasonable prices. You won't be disappointed, it's da bomb.”

“Vans is such a fun store, it has very colorful clothing, sneakers and skateboards for those who are shopping for them. The staff is very friendly and they approach you with information on the latest sale specials. In 1982, Sean Penn wore a pair of checkerboard slip-ons in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, which made the brand popular in the US. Now, it's almost a cult following....many people will not wear anything on their feet but Vans. Vans is a manufacturer of skateboarding shoes and related apparel, established in Anaheim, California, and owned by VF Corporation. The company also sponsors surf, snowboarding, BMX, and motocross teams. From 1996 to 2019, the company had been the primary sponsor of the annual Vans Warped Tour traveling rock festival. It all started in 1966 when brothers Paul Van Doren and Jim Van Doren along with partners Gordon Lee and Serge Delia open for business at 704 E. Broadway in Anaheim, Calif. on March 16. The Van Doren Rubber Company was unique in that it manufactured shoes on premises and sold them directly to the public. On that first morning, 12 customers purchased shoes, which were made that day and ready for pick-up in the afternoon. Cool concept....now, of course they are mass produced, but with the same level of quality and workmanship.”

“This store is everything! They have a specific extended size section, which rocks! It’s clear they put a ton of thought and care into each of the pieces they carry. The employees are incredibly kind and supportive. I can always count on Sabrina to help me style clothing and boost my confidence. Yay Nava! Best boutique in Providence hands down.”

“This is one of the best Hot Topic around. The Providence Place Mall is a very busy place, reminds me of the old malls where you can go and get the products in person. My daughter loves the variety that this hot topic provides. Alot of those Japanese anime stuff,to bands,to Pokémon products. Give it a try.”

“I walked into this Garage store, mainly because my husband's niece used to work here and she was always saying good things about the store and the brand. I looked around for something for one of my nieces and I found a lot of really nice "young" fashion. The prices are a bit on the high side compared to other stores that cater to young females, but the look and the styles are definitely different and a bit more trendy. Garage primarily targets fashion for young women. Founded in 1975 as a subsidiary of Groupe Dynamite, Garage currently has locations in Canada and the United States. The first store opened in Quebec in 1975 and in 2007, they opened their first stores in the USA. Now many American malls have Garage clothing stores.”

“Rachel was so kind and helpful when we came in looking for a prom dress. We needed a really quick turn around on some alterations and she helped us out, while also giving a discount on the dress because of the tailoring it needed. The service and dresses are super high quality and great value. It was a lovely experience, even coming for someone who doesn't typically enjoy shopping!”

“Queen of Hearts opened its doors for the first time in 2006 by Karen Beebe. The store is a fashion boutique featuring cool jewelry, colorful dresses, and unique accessories. Last time I stopped by, I was checking some jewelry accessories for a gift....they do have lots of fun stuff that you don't usually see at a larger department store. Year round, the store provides complimentary gift wrapping for all purchases...The business is very dog-friendly.”

“People are pretty nice here. Most of the time they ask if I need help with anything then they tend to leave me alone after that (I'm grateful for that--I don't like associates who follow me around) As for the clothing itself, it tends to be a bit pricey but I guess thats to be expected with plus size clothing. Personally I like the clothing selection at the Emerald Square Mall a bit better”

“This is a large express store with an abundance of social and professional clothing options. There are currently pants on sale for as low as $35. Last season items are also on sale.”

“I just happened upon this store, and went in to browse. Some items were above my price range (well, almost everything is above my price range these days), but they had a great sale. I found some really pretty and unique pieces. The salespeople were very nice. I'll go back. It is a fun area to shop in; the only danger is the nearby bakery!”

“They got the clothes you need usually, good quality at affordable prices. Some items are strangely priced rather high and some sizes are just not in stock all the time. It's usually worth browsing in the store when they have a sale going on at the time”

“I decided to go into this Zumiez to check their T-shirts. The store is pretty large and a bit crowded....they did have a lot of colorful clothing for men such as T-shirts, shirts, sweatshirts and underwear. In the back they have a section for skateboarders with colorful skateboards. The staff was pretty busy when I walked in, so I did not get any assistance. Zumiez is a specialty clothing store founded by Thomas Campion and Gary Haakenson in 1978, and publicly traded since 2005. The company is a specialty retailer of apparel, footwear, accessories and hardgoods for young men and women. Zumiez markets clothing for action sports, particularly skateboarding, snowboarding, and motocross. Zumiez is based in Lynnwood, Washington. Originally named "Above the Belt" when the first store was opened at Northgate Mall (Seattle) in 1978, the company grew quickly through the early 1980s with the addition of stores at Everett Mall (Everett, Washington), Alderwood Mall (Lynnwood, WA), Tacoma Mall (Tacoma, WA) and Bellevue Square (Bellevue, WA). The mid and late eighties brought new stores online outside of the Puget Sound area, and the corporate name changed to Zumiez. The corporate office was moved from Everett to Lynnwood, Washington in 2012.”

“It was surprising to find a big vintage store in the glorious downtown where you'd think there would be department stores and fashiony boutiques, but those must be somewhere else in the mixed up world of today (the mall?). The Vault gets big points from us for their tag descriptions of eras being actually accurate! How rare is that? Prices are okay. There is a section of more recent designer label ridiculousness if that interests you, but most of the stock when we visited was '50s-'90s I think, with some earlier and some later. Love to shop again but we don't live here. :(”

“As a first-time visitor to this shop, I was impressed with what the store had to offer. The clearance sale in select sections of the store added an element of excitement to the shopping, and I was pleased to find two gorgeous heels for my sister-in-law. The store's pricing was budget-friendly, and the variety of shoe options as well as sizes available was impressive. The employees were super sweet & welcoming as well as helpful. I loved their positivity and kindness towards the clientele. Overall, my experience at this shop was positive, and I would highly recommend it to others looking for quality shoes at reasonable prices.”

“This nice store is located across from Tiffany's at the mall, so it's an easy walk between jewelry and handbags ! LOL.. One of my nieces loves Michael Kors so I went to check out their bags and products. When I walked in, the attendant welcomed me and asked if she could be of any help. Very nice setup. Lots of choices. The namesake....Michael David Kors was born Karl Anderson Jr. on August 9, 1959. He is the honorary chairman and chief creative officer of his brand, which includes stores like this one...... Michael Kors stores sell men's and women's ready-to-wear, accessories, watches, jewelry, footwear, and fragrance. Kors was the first women's ready-to-wear designer for the French house Celine, from 1997 to 2003.”

“Even though I am not in my 20s or 30s, I still like to find good stuff at Aeropostale. They have some great polo shirts, jeans, shirts, etc. Also this is one of my niece Debbie's favorites stores, so whenever I see a good sale going on, I stop by.The store is a bit on the crowded side, but it's because they have so much merchandise they need to display, it's busy on the actual floor space as well as high up, with jeans and sweatshirts piled up high. The staff at the register are very nice and the process is pretty smooth.”

“Nice place to get quality casual wear for the entire family. The look is more for a younger look than a formal look, so think of park, beach, chilling. The store used to be on the second floor of the mall and it was really expansive. Now it is on the main floor, a bit smaller, but still showcasing nice clothes. Love their jeans, sweatshirts and shirts. The corporate entity of Abercrombie & Fitch is branded as an American lifestyle retailer that focuses on casual wear. Its headquarters are in New Albany, Ohio. The company operates three other offshoot brands: Abercrombie Kids, Hollister Co., and Gilly Hicks. As of 2022, the company operates over 800+ stores across all brands. Once known for its ad campaigns mostly featuring nearly-nude, white teen models behaving in sexually suggestive ways with each other, the company has toned down sexually charged imagery and no longer features scantily dressed models in its advertisements. According to then-Chairman Arthur Martinez, these changes were implemented to show that the company is evolving with its consumers. Abercrombie & Fitch is also notable for referring to its in-store customer service and sales staff as "brand representatives" (formerly known as "models").”

“Exceptional selection of upscale casual clothes, featuring brands like AG, Mother, 360 Cashmere, Johnny Was. The inventory seems change monthly... often more frequently. If you don't see your size, ask the owner for help. Heidi strives to keep her customers very happy, and will often volunteer to special order.”

“I was so sad when the Thayer Street Francesca's died. I am not a fan of the Providence Place Mall in general but go there occasionally for select stores, which now include Francesca's. I scored some sweet KIND bag reusable totes here. These are high quality totes in cool prints like a ditsy floral and a pink plaid. I got them on sale for buy one get one 60% off. Francesca's often has some good sales and their clearance finds can be great especially on jewelry. Good place for gifts for your fave teen or young adult ladies. I've also scored some great totes and bags and sunglasses at their locations.”
