“This place can be good, but is buffetted by the inharent uncertainty in their business. Their trucks come in not on time, usually late. the system schedules equipment probably as per ideal rather than what is typical. In addition, their phone system is a compromise between national and local support. Often my qestion can only be answered by the local site. But, the main line to the local rings past to the national help line. It is often best to just go there. this is the largest u-haul in the area. I also beleive that they are the largest network, so I can drop off near where I'm headed. The rates are ok. the equipment is not hard to use and looks like some care went into usability (compare penn state systems for hard to use). I get the impression that these folks care. Not a 5 star care, but a 4 star care. they try to do their job in a chaotic environment. I will go back, but I like to call ahead, I stop by for complicated arrangements, I ask for discounts when they screw up, I ask to be passed back to the local folks (who may be moving a truck around), and appreciate that they don't yell too much when i screw up.”

“Had a sensor issue on our Class A motor home and no one would look at it. Someone suggested Valley and we couldn’t be happier. Not only did they fix the issue, Bob and his staff were nice and affordable. Great to know we have a local resource if we ever need it.”

“I rented a truck and car carrier for moving one way out of state. Got a relatively new truck with low miles, excellent customer service and on the date requested. The truck was easy to drive, felt new and the seats were super comfortable. Customer service at the headquarters is top-notch, got to give it to them for finding me transportation 2 days before I had planned to move and U-Haul bailed on me. Renting from Penske cost me an additional $800 than what U-Haul offered but I do not regret my purchase. I paid for a smooth sailing journey to my new workplace.”

“Been taking my car there for years now. They always give a fair assessment and the total price is right where they said it be. It's a great mom and pop business that doesn't spend a lot on overhead to impress you. Use the savings to go to a resort for vacation.”

“Leave your politics at the door! No seriously. Like me, you are probably reading the reviews from this place, and you likely disagree with the politics of the proprietors. You may think that the politics signal some sort of bad service, and the low scored reviews reflect the service rendered rather than some political bias. While I am absolutely certain there are very few ways Nick (the gentleman who serviced my lawn mower) and I overlap politically, I can confidently say that avoiding Stoicheff's due to my own political beliefs would have robbed me of excellent service. We live in such a tremendously divided society, don't let that rob you from a hard working, honest, and price-conscious shop. Ignore the politically-charged reviews and give this shop a chance for your small engine repair needs.”
