“Absolutely the best banking experience that I've ever encountered! I first went there over 15 years ago with my girl scout troop. They gave them a tour and we're so nice. I started banking there after that and formed a wonderful working relationship with the workers and especially the bank manager, Doug Atherton. They have been EXCEPTIONAL in every way that you can imagine. VERY friendly and personal, a small town feel that is mostly nonexistent in todays society. A+ for Wayne bank!! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“The Slate Belt area Knights of Columbus, #3862, just finished a pro-life fundraiser that collected about 400 lbs of coins. Our local FNB&T branch in Wind Gap counted the coins without a fee. This service made it possible for us to donate $7,000 to the Cay Galgon Life House. We deeply appreciate their community-centered attitude.”

“First National Bank said yes when almost all my other local banks said No. Suzell Sayers-Kent, the branch manager helped my family’s dream come true by helping us every step of the way get the commercial mortgage loan we needed to secure a million dollar 11 unit mixed use commercial building. “We have used this branch since it operated out of a trailer before the existing structure was built, when it was Palmerston bank. We’ve been customers so long that the original employees have retired.It’s been a wonderful experience all these years: personal, professional, accomodating employees who became friends. No mistakes that I can remember and, more importantly, no security breaches to our accounts. No one was injured the awful day they were held up, thankfully. We’re still with them!”
“The comment below by Jessica L. is false and her rating slanders this institution along with Susan Dudley.Susan was a great worker as she simply set up my father in law's (he's my father in law, not her's, yet) estate account, which only my husband, executor, was able to be on. Jessica L wrote a bad review because her boyfriend, the other son, was not allowed to be on the account since he was not named the executor. He left that bank like a 5 year old baby, and she wrote the review below out of spite.This quoted review from below is FALSE: "Susan Dudley is very arrogant with her attitude with dealing with my father in law’s account this bank has given my family nothing but problems even after banking with them for 15 years."”

“I've had nothing but excellent service. Place is always empty cause they get people in and out quickly. They are very pleasant and they give me the bills I always ask for without a problem. I always get the same teller and she is a sweetheart. Can't remember her name , but will post it later. She sits at the 2nd window from the left.”
“I have used ESSA for years and everyone is wonderful! As far as banks go I think they are a very good one. I would only caution you that it does get busy at peak times so expect to wait in the drive thru. The ladies are wonderful and help with whatever we need!”

The teller i first spoke too was very nice, and directed me to someone that could help. The girl in the training to be a branch manager (so sorry I don't remember her name) was super helpful giving me the information that customer service could not. Cassandra took care of my issue right away. While she was working on my issue another worker came over and was giving me advice on what to do next. A big thank you to all 4 of you. Especially the ones that had to deal with my crazy mother on the phone!”

“This is a great CU, if you are eligible join asap. Pros, two great credit cards (rewards or low APR), good website & app, free fico, free checkbook, friendly staff, fast response time & easy to deal with. Cons, slow to answer phones, bill pay could be better.”

“After my credit union of 25years did me dirty, I searched for a new financial institution. I selected Citizens on their free prime checking with one deposit monthly & no minimal balance. Going to their branch ATM's can be tricky as they charge fee for foreign ATM's which can be avoided by using debit with cash back at store checkout. The staff has always been friendly & helpful. There is never a line in the drive thru & if there is, it moves quickly. The Corporation regularly sends satisfaction surveys & value your input. I have been with Citizens for almost a year & the only issue I have experienced is their online system goes down frequently especially in the early morning hours between 12am to 7am.”
