“We rented an SUV through the online system with Hertz. I confirmed the availability one week before our trip and yes, we were locked in and ready to go. The service person greeted us with a smile and he was ready with our vehicle, so checkout was less then 15 minutes. The vehicle was perfect for our trip from PA to NC, and upon returning the vehicle, we were greeted in the same manner as when we left. I always recommend making reservations in advance, preferably online if you can, and then calling to ensure your request is honored. I will rent from Hertz again when needed, they were less expensive than another major competitor.”

The personalized service I received from Tremaine was refreshing, she checked on me after the vehicle switch to ensure I was satisfied. This is a smaller location than I’m used to renting from so they don’t have as many car options, especially for customers with status. I took off one star with hopes that corporate will work to get this amazing team better vehicles.”

“We ran into an issue with the car we were trying to rent. It was a van and it was showing on the website even though it wasn't available. Isaiah contacted me twice about the rental, made sure we were getting what we needed, offered other options and then even when we went to pick up the one we chose he provided two options to make sure we were satisfied. The car was really clean and in very good condition. We have rented from other places where the car was damaged or not very clean, but this rental was like getting a new car! The entire process was made even better by the professionalism and friendliness of Isaiah who seems to not just be a really good guy, but Hertz is lucky to have him working for them!”

“I did not have the same negative experience as some on here. Service from the 2 ladies at the counter was truly top notch and efficient. Then, they brought us down quickly to our car (in a garage a block away) and inspected with us. To be honest it was a pretty stress free experience for not having a gold aisle option. THEN, 2 days later, we got a call just checking in on the rental to see if everything was fine. I have rented cars over 20 times this year from various companies and locations, not once have I ever received a call to check on my rental and satisfaction. Kudos to this location and staff. Great job.”

“Visiting from out of town and my first Zipcar experience in DC area. The instructions to find the car are pretty detailed. App makes it very easy to make reservations. I did have trouble booking a one way trip so ended doing a round trip instead. I also couldn't figure out how to give the car to valet since I had to lock it. Other than that, it was convenient, easy and gave me a car for a half day to run errands. Very helpful to have in the city”

“I lived here for about one year and I have mixed feelings about it.The best part is its location. It’s right beside 202 and close to everything you need. There’s even a butcher and a Walgreens within walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful and the management team hosts lovely activities frequently. Amenities are being renovated gradually.However, there are several things you have to keep in mind if you plan to live here.First, be sure to check every appliance once you move in. We had a completely broken and uncleaned dish washer when we moved in and it took like a month to get a new one installed. I can’t imagine how the move out inspection for the previous renter was done.Second, be prepared to live with wildlife. We noticed the bat guano on the balcony once we moved in last summer but no actions were able to be taken because bats are protected. We could only wait until the weather gets colder so the bats won’t come again. And the bats do come back this summer. Also, some swallows are nesting and breeding in the building hallway this year, which caused a huge mess on the floor. Again they’re protected animals so no actions could be taken.It was generally not too bad but I was annoyed by some missing details.”
