“Such an amazing atmosphere with all the houseplants you could want! Perfect for pet friendly houseplants. Also got my girl a gift for her new office. The staff are extremely helpful and nice. Loved picking out a handmade pot for the plant and being able to repot it on the spot! Happy we got a chance to stop by while we were in Asheville”

“We utilized Charlton Bradsher for design services for a complete renovation of our 1960s kitchen, including the addition of a new mudroom and entryway, and updates to the exterior of our home over the course of the past year. The Hands of Sean Perry Co. served as the contractor.We are extremely happy with Charlton's work and the results. In addition to being a skilled designer, he is dependable and a pleasure to work with. A highlight of working with him on the kitchen was his creation of a fantastic layout including cabinetry and lighting plans that gave us a beautiful and highly functional new space. He was solid on the basics and then added lots of creative thinking for the finishes. He was a good communicator and was committed to helping us achieve a wonderful remodel from beginning to end. “Sanctuary of Stuff is a unique gift shop in Woodfin (north of Asheville). There's a fun vibe, with beautiful pottery, glass, jewelry, clothing, homewares and baby things made by artists, many of them local. Perfect place to find something for that hard-to-buy-for person. I also worked with a different furniture company that shall not be named (same price range too), and the level of customer service and support was incredibly subpar from willingness to hold furniture to delivery to taking care of any issues. 4 Corners /Mobilia is fantastic and you won't go wrong with working with them on your new furnishings.”
“East Fork makes exceptionally well-made pottery and you can see all the current glazes in their Asheville store! It is really helpful to be able to compare the different sized bowls and plates, since figuring out exactly what you might want for dinnerware by shopping online can be tricky (they have so many options for bowls!). They also sell beautiful silverware and other home goods here. This store is definitely worth visiting when in Asheville!”

“I loved this store so much that I spent an hour looking through downtown Asheville boutiques just to find it hoping to find an online store (maybe someday???????). They had wonderful items for every taste from jewlry to bags, homegoods and accesories, clothes and everything in between. As many others have mentioned, not sure how this doesn't "represent Asheville." I came down from ATL for a long weekend, but everyone I met seemed to have a do whatever makes you happy attitude. Too bad it seems like a select few have decided they are the face and opinions of the entire city. ??”

“This is the best place in Asheville to find a new shade or have that favorite lamp repaired! Fantastic selection of finials! They can also make a lamp for you if you have a vase or some other object. There is always a beautiful selection of antique items - fine furniture, mirrors, smalls - and seasonal decorations. “My wife and I bought our small cottage home in 2018 and waited 5 long years before we were done raising kids to finally move in and make it our own. The only problem we had was furnishing and decorating a whole house for the first time in our lives. I can tell you we are not interior decorators. Our previous furniture had been chosen for durability and teenage boy proofing, so we were not prepared for the overwhelming choices and lack of direction we would encounter. Until we found Chris and his support staff at Dwellings. Chris' kind, quiet demeanor and expert guidance was just what we needed. The showroom is beautiful and gave us so many ideas. The quality of the furniture was just what we were looking for, furniture that would last for years to come. Chris took time to help us chose color combinations and fabrics for our living room suit and when we changed our minds on the rug color we had chosen, he did everything in his power to make the exchange happen smoothly and painlessly. We can't speak highly enough about our experience at Dwellings. Each time we ventured out to buy additional furnishings, we always ended up coming back to Dwellings.
