“If you have somewhat of a more complicated medicinal regimen, this is the place to go. Drugs are filled punctually, they actually call you if there is an issue with insurance coverage or a delay caused by an insufficient supply, the pharmacists are knowledgeable and friendly and it is a small, family business. I feel good contributing to this pharmacy unlike the competitors. Stop filling at CVS or Walgreens where you are simply a number. Durham Pharmacy actually cares, and that is hard to come by these days. Trust me on that!”

“We cannot express enough our gratitude to Chris B of Harris Teeter North Point Drive. He was the best customer service staff I have ever met! Since we came to the store, he answered all our queries and even offered himself if ever we need anything. We had issues with lots of items but he patiently gave us handful of substitute making it extremely an easy experience. When we finally completed our order, he had another customer waiting so he said thag he will come back to us to check of everything is fine. To our surprise, he even bought us an item because we left that and told him to void. He said that he loves helping people and you're a living proof that there are still great people in this world. You are so lucky to have him work at Customer service. Again, thanks amd more powers!”

“The rotisserie chickens are the best all around than in any deli/bakery store in Durham in my opinion because they're very moist and delicious and I purchase at least two or three a week and if I don't be an early bird to buy them I got to wait until the next day to purchase them. And the ones that are cold may I add they are delicious also. You can't go wrong with those rotisserie chickens. That's a plus for me and a blessing for me to purchase them from that particular Food Lion among other items as well. The staff is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable A shout out to Ms. Jocine. She gives exceptional excellent customer service every time whether she's at the customer service desk or getting carts or cashiering or whatever her role is. I appreciate her pleasantness her smile. I only shop at 2 other Food Lion's stores in Durham and this happens to be the one in my neighborhood. Look forward to shopping there.”

“I visited here a few days ago and I was helped at the customer service desk. I was helped by Sandra I believe. She was really nice and helped me with my fuel points. There was another young guy named Bryann (he had on white shirt) at the desk as well. I was needing to exchange my pineapple for another one. He so kindly offered to go grab me another one since the one I picked was going bad. He came back with 2 pineapples to choose from but I declined (which I felt bad about) because I’m picky. I told him I would prefer it to have more yellow. I feel like those are sweeter and more ripe, but I’m probably wrong lol. He was so nice about it and I hope he doesn’t lose that kind innocent helpful spark that he has that so many people lose. He was amazing!”

“I needed gluten free flatbread to make homemade pizza. I'm not familiar with GF bec it was for a guest. I approached the bread man who was stocking named Kevin. He was super nice and all he had was loaf and he directed me to the bakery/deli section after telling me to also check frozen. I headed first to deli. A nice young woman named Jamiya in the deli, instead of telling me where to look, walked me all over the store including back to the bread guy to get more info on GF. We went to refrig biscuit section w/ no luck, pie crusts section then finally found GF frozen pizza dough. Another employee Kirsten helped join in the search as well. Jamiya even read off some of the ingredients/directions on the packaging bec I could not see very well. Outstanding service! I haven't been treated this well in a very long time. Bravo Harris Teeter! I wanted to do a HT survey but there wasn't one on my receipt. This is my new go to store. Has it's gas station at bottom of parking lot- very convenient.”

“I absolutely love this place. It's been great since changing from corporate pharmacies. I also love the lady that works at the front. She is amazing and always goes above and beyond her job description. However I gave 4 stars because I used to get my medication quickly and now it's a wait. When I first started going here they had my medicine ready the moment I walked in the door every single time and the last few times I've had to wait 15+ for my meds to become ready. And because the gentleman that works at the front isn't very friendly or helpful. I go to the lady and refuse to go to him. But for the most part I love it. I'm trying out their delivery service tomorrow so we will see how that goes. It's free delivery for all Durham co. Residents. *Update on Delivery Service- Service is quick and is amazing except for if you don't need to sign for your meds they just throw them at your front door on the ground at the door. I'm right on the road and sadly anyone could steal my meds and I wouldn't even know because they don't knock or call to let you know it's been dropped off and even if they did knock I'm in a 2 story house, can't hear anything upstairs from the front door. So my rating is staying 4 stars. Still better this place than most others. Also, this place needs to be open till at least 5-6 on Saturday. Closing so early is insane and all my meds are here. Now I have to wait till Monday to get my meds.”
“The store was very clean. I asked 4 different employees where an item was and 3 sent me to the same aisle. Then I asked Bre a younger cashier who wasn't sure. She walked up to customer service and asked for me and personally walked me straight to the item! That is what customer service is about! Super impressed with her we talked on the way back up and she started her register was open. I would go back just for her going out of her way to help me. I only gave 4 stars because of the manager but Bre deserves 10 stars! Thank you for your help Bre and patiently walking with me though I limp. You are AWESOME!!”

“I guess this is what we get for doing groceries on Xmas eve, but there wasn't much produce when we went at 8:30am. Other than that, the store had a great selection. Prices were a bit high, and I'm from CA so that's saying something.
My main complaint was the touchy self checkout machines. I kept needing help for all kinds of stuff that never causes issues when I shop back home. Oh well, I got most of what I needed so I can't complain too much lol”

“This Harris Teeter was very similar to other ones. The produce section was much more fresh than the other ones I have been too. The shelves were a little bare but I did come late afternoon on a Sunday so that was expected. The parking lot can be a challenge during busy times. It was very hard to pull out of the parking lot and there were other cars coming from every direction.”
“Not a bad place to deliver. I had a 6am appointment the guy came to my truck to grab my paperwork. I Slept there overnight. Someone had a 5am appointment one they were done they jumped right on my truck. I was out by 655am”
“The new pharmacy is done beautifully and is more accessible location wise which is nice. The staff is so nice and accommodating. There is one pharmacy tech gentleman (dark hair) who is always so friendly and goes above and beyond. Look forward to seeing him when my father and I go to get his prescriptions.”

“I was having a super hard time in sam's in the clothing section and out of the corner of my eye I saw a this pretty hispanic girl in a bunch of gold chains Folding a bunch of clothes. i asked for her name and she said it was Angelina, She was the nicest worker ever, I told her how I was struggling to find some jeans for my boyfriend and i did not know his size and she was actually really helpful because i would say im super indecisive and she really helped me pick out the best pair of jeans for him. But turns out they didn't fit but the second time i came in to return to jeans I saw her again working hard at folding clothes and basically explained how they didn't fit him correctly and she recommended me a different size for him and it actually fit. Thanks you so much Angelina”
“This walgreens does NOT CARRY ANYTHING OVER-THE-COUNTER. This is a SPECIALTY PHARMACY dealing with only complex prescriptions and diseases. You can't go here to buy a Cola or Tylenol. The staff are very nice and gave me directions to the nearest retail drug store.”

“About a month ago there was a mix-up with the notification system. They said they had my ADHD meds, but when I went to pick them up they weren't ready. The pharmacists were incredibly accommodating. One of them said, "I'm so sorry. My daughter has ADHD too. I know how much something like this can ruin your whole week; especially with the shortage going on. My name is X, and I'll be here until Y today. I'll be working on getting it sorted out for you".Most other pharmacies treat me like crack head or some other kind of drug seeker. The way I'm treated as a result of the stigma of taking stimulant medication is a huge chunk of the battle for me some days. I'm really grateful for the kindness and professionalism of those working here.”
“I went for eggs. And like everywhere else the price is up. ON my most current visit a week ago. There were no eggs, no mangos or avocados. Not sure why there is a shortage of those items.
At Sam's I do the Scan and go, which I love. Any time I do interact with customer service, it's always a pleasant experience.
