I was greeted by a nice, friendly young man who took the the time to look at the damage and then proceeded to buff out the area that was scuffed up. I tried to pay him for his services but he refused payment. As a small business owner myself, it's nice to see there are still places that offer exceptional service. I highly recommend Troy's.”

“I highly recommend “Steve's 9W Collision.”I can’t say enough good about the business, or the knowledge, professionalism, and understanding shown to customers. Particularly by the business Manager and Appraiser, Mario Laudato.My car was brought to the shop last week after becoming badly damaged in a car accident. Luckily a friend suggested I ask the tow company (contracted and called by the PD to move all non-drivable vehicles from the scene to a safe holding location) to bring it to “Steve's 9W Collision.”Following this, I spoke to Mario, who patiently answered all my questions, and eased my concerns. I also learned that “Steve’s” does free estimates, full collision repair and works with all insurance.Over the next few days, I went to the shop and spoke to Mario several times and he never failed to offer quick, honest advice.He kept me well informed throughout the process and worked efficiently with the insurance company to make progress.Any car repair-related expense can be stressful, and it’s invaluable to know there’s a reliable, trustworthy, local business @ “Steve’s 9W Collision” that all of us in the community, and anyone can depend on.”

“A few months back I met up with a deer on Rte 209, he was kind enough to damage my front left bumper, fog light, sensors, and fender trim... before scampering off into the long grass.I stopped by Beautiful Bodies, who Lia Honda recommended, and Ann was very helpful at talking me through the process of what to expect from their shop during the repair process. Ann and the team were quick at providing a quote, and assuring me that they would work with my insurance company should any further repairs be needed once they had things taken apart.My Honda was there for approx 10 days, including a slight delay due to a faulty part being sent to them. Ann was great at keeping me up to date on the progress, and very helpful with the insurance paperwork once the repair was completed.The repairs were very well done, and I couldn't be happier with the experience.Thank you for doing a great repair, and for communication and caring that isn't often seen anymore at many other businesses.I highly recommend Beautiful Bodies Auto Body in Kingston.”

“I was hit while eating in a restaurant back in September 2023, and contacted Smitty's Auto Body after asking a co-worker where they got their truck fixed. So Pat did an estimate and got in touch with the insurance adjuster and handled everything for me. He is a very knowledgeable professional with many years of experience in the auto body industry, and a genuinely nice guy. As for the quality of work, in my opinion it is of the highest quality, compared to the other body shop in Kingston NY by the Ford dealership Smitty's even fixed the stuff that other shop did wrong. I'd recommend them anytime for body work and will use them again myself!”

“These guys are awesome. They went above and beyond to attempt to help me with my ac/heater issue. It's looking more and more like THERE ARE air-door actuators (three of them) in my 2016 Honda Pilot that is preventing proper hot and cold air circulation. “I just picked my car up and couldn't be happier with how it looks! I bought it used and I don't think it even looked this new back then. Kevin is a perfectionist in the best way and even took the time to clean/defog my headlights for me. I had a whole complicated "going through somebody else's insurance and also need rental" type of situation on top of never having any work like this done before and Jen worked hard to make sure everyone did right by me to make things as easy as possible. “It was a decent auto parts store. There only seemed to be one entrance that comes very quick if headed north on Albany Avenue . So it's easy to miss. Headed south, you may see Advance sooner, but need to cross two lanes of traffic to pull into the parking lot. So it is not the easiest place to get in and out of. Fortunately for this Advance, there are not many options close by. So that probably helps them.There seems to be adequate parking with some parking in front as well as on the side. You probably could pull into the lot for the businesses next door if you miss the entrance. They may not be thrilled, but it's probably safer than trying to get over to the proper parking lot. You only have to cross a small patch of grass.I parked in front, and it wasn't the cleanest place ever. But not totally filthy either. There was a nasty smell of trash coming from dumpsters outside the Advance on the other side of the building, between advance and the road for the next door business's.The inside of this Advance seemed pretty much up to snuff. No things were not perfect. But without looking too close, things seemed somewhat organized and clean. I only stopped in for a quick item. So it wasn't a review I planned on doing.I did this review only because I like to patronize small business's over big corporate. But in this case, the big corporate business is one of the few choices. Maybe the only choice close by. And although not so great before you get inside. Inside this Advance is a world that many folks will need and use. I didn't expect wonderful things. But they provide the things folks may need, in a decent environment.”
