“Sales people went above and beyond to try to get a vehicle that had all the features I wanted. Although it was not possible to accomplish all of my requests I got a beautiful vehicle real close. The reason my requests could not be met it was manufacturing that’s the problem not dealerships. We found this with pretty much all the different makes of vehicles. Mainly for me it is color selection and interior color. BLACK is pretty much the only interior color especially carpet. Many people want better choices and all the companies should listen to consumers but obviously do not. Everyone does not want White, Black or Gray!!”

While driving from Watertown to Syracuse on I-81 south,a check charging system msg appeared on my dashboard.
I was close to the exit in Cicero and was able to get off the highway to Byrne dairy gas station.My wife took an uber to her appointment while I turned my attention to getting the car running again. I searched for nearby auto shops and choose Mattech based on his previous reviews.I left a vm msg on his phone when he called back,My car was already towed to another shop, however they were unable to do the repairs.When Matt returned my call we made a plan to get my car fixed.He was on his way from his doctor's appointment and went across town to the parts store to get the required part while I got my car towed to his shop.Matt price was very very reasonable compared to the first shop that I went to.He explained the repairs in details that would get the car running and quote me a price before starting the work. Matt is very knowledgeable and has impeccable diagnostic skills.he was able to choose the correct part for the car based on the information I provided. He pays keen attention to details, ensuring that the part fit and and is working as intended before you leave his shop.He change my alternator and battery and reset my ECM code.While having conversations about various topics.With Matt's assistance I was able to be back on the road within a few hours. Thank you Matt.I will travel from Watertown to Syracuse for future repairs I just need to call and make an appointment. Lol”

He worked up all the costs for both options. He knew I had a budget and never tried to sell me something that didn’t fit in that budget. He was so pleasant and never pushy. When I decided on the newer model, Larry went over all the things that VW had changed from the one I had been driving before sending me on my way.
