“I stopped here on my way home to MD out of curiosity. The shop is mentioned in a CJ BOX novel. It's just a short distance from I95. Excellent and friendly service in a clean, well organized store. I purchased 4 varieties of sausage. My husband, a chef, said, "That guy knows what he is doing. The Brazilian chicken sausage is the best I have ever had." I will visit again the next time my travels take me through Newark.”

“Been here a couple times since moving to the area and the staff has been friendly. The best part of this place is the prices. This place has everything you would need for a BBQ they offer a variety of spices and different types of meat. This place is my to go place for affordable high quality cuts of meat. I walked out of here with 3 lbs of chicken breasts and spent between 5-6 dollars. This butcher shop is really affordable and so far good quality meat. Newarkians should check it out. “They have treat you with courtesy and professionalism. Every time I have been there they ask you how you want the chicken cut and clean it fast. I have been here a couple of times and will definitely be back again. If you have the number you can just call them and ask them if they have what you need or they will tell you when its coming in.”

“Soups are delicious, hands-down, and probably the best and most affordable in the area. I especially love their seafood soup. The food buffet is charged by the pound. The workers are seen organizing shelves, cleaning, packing, or organizing produce. I come here almost every day. They sell french ham, which is one of the few places that have it where its authentic. Remember, this is not Shop Rite, its Seabra's, so they specialize in European and Brazilian products too. I'm posting a four stars because at times there's a strong smell of old meat, I'm sure they get rid of the old meat, wish the smell wasn't there, they have their days where its smells more than others. At times, the older female workers are a bit snarky and can throw off the regular customer because they tend to ignore even you ask them a question. The younger workers are more helpful and friendlier. However they are well organized, they are a very clean supermarket. Don't forget to grab the small roll of bread and a spoon with your soup that's near the soup and coffee station. You can sit outside or inside to eat, and parking is available, which is prime in East Newark.”

“I came to this location for Eid- Ul- Adha 2021 after hearing they work closely with Mecca Halal Meat. The 1st of Eid, this place is heavily crowded and wait time are long and never ending. I came the second day 9 am when they open and I got my sheep and I was at home by 10 am.The Customer Service is rude, but I got my meat lol.The goats were old and skinny, though the sheep and cows were in great health.Over I will be here again next Eid إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُFor those who say it’s a dirty place, well it’s a butcher shop, I don’t think it gets any cleaner than that, and the one star reviews they might belong to the vegan protestors I saw when I went there lol.”
“I was greeted upon entry there were other people that appeared to be regulars. I was asked if I needed help but it was first time so I said I had no decided on everything yet. They gave me time and a gentleman helped I told him I didn't quite need the plans posted but wanted to come up with my own. He said that was fine and I told him what I needed and he went and got everything and rang me up. Bottom line this where I'm getting my meat from now on.?? ?? ?? ??”
