“Livingston Collision did an amazing job on my 1983 280ZX Turbo 5 speed (in mint condition). It was an old school repair that required extensive expertise..
I purchased the car about 40 years ago and have garaged and babied it since acquisition. When it was one year old in 1984, a lawn chair in my garage fell on the hood. It was a traumatic experience. I brought my car to Livingston Collision and Gene (the principal of Livingston Collision who since has passed away) replaced the hood and did a wonderful job. I recently had some work done to the car at another shop and somehow the hood got out of alignment. I decided to go back to Livingston Collision to have them see if it was possible to readjust the hood. I met with JR (who is Gene’s son) and explained that back in 1984 his dad had replaced the car hood. JR was wonderful to work with and he spent the time to explain the problem and the solution to the repair.
When I went back to the shop a few hours later, the car was outside and the hood was sitting in the closed position perfectly aligned. I believe that the repair took talent as this was done by hand with several fine adjustments to get it just right. More of an art than a science that only an experienced auto body technician could do. JR was wonderful to work with. I have used Livingston Collision a few years ago to replace a bumper on my Volvo from a minor accident. They did a great job then and a wonderful job now.”

“On Friday 2/16, I was traveling from NYC and while on the highway, I thought I popped 2 tires. I was scared, lost and freaking out to put it mildly. I didn’t even know what town I was in. I googled mechanics near me and this was closest. I made my way and thank God I did. The man sitting at the front desk was my guardian angel. Turns out, I did not pop 2 tires, the car shield came loose and was scraping against the floor. He fixed it immediately and refused to take any money. Of course I tipped him. “Needed a new front bumper/headlight/numerous other parts. Bobby was persistent in making sure parts arrived in a timely manner and the attention to detail was noticeable. Aside from obvious damage i had small cosmetic issues that only someone who loves their car would be upset about. Everything's fixed and the paint job looks like the original factory bumper. An insurance issue also left me having to pay out of pocket, and Bobby worked with me on a price that left me able to sleep at night. Hopefully i’ll never need these services again, but if i do, i know where to go”

I was able to complete an online estimate with pictures and have an answer within a few days. I ended up booking with Troast because they had the best rate and the fastest turn around, not to mention close to Enterprise Rental. In addition, I spoke to Jeff who was helpful and pleasant which is always nice. Overall it was a great experience and I would return if I needed similar work done.”

“Have used MAB in the past with no issues. Was recently hit while parked so had to get my Subaru back bumper & tail light replaced. State Farm had MAB on their list of approved repair shops (thank goodness). JP & everyone else on the team were very courteous & easy to work with & they were able to order the parts fairly quickly (a week) and then turn around the repair work within 2 days. They even buffed out other minor scratches. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they also vacuumed out the inside driver & passenger sides so it was nice & clean when I picked my car up. They kept me updated on the status of my repairs via text & email. They also do offer short distance rides which I appreciated but didn't need. I highly recommend them. MAB is a family owned & run company with a long history in Madison so I am happy to support them with my business.”
