“Wayne, the Gold Club attendant at KCI Airport, provided an excellent display of how Customer Service should be given! When we arrived around 4:55pm, a 7-passenger SUV wasn't available although we had a reservation for one! Wayne was scheduled to leave work at 5pm. Instead of letting this become the next shift's problem, he willingly & patiently worked with us until he found a vehicle that accommodated my family! We all left shortly after 6pm! Wayne is the MVP at this location! Ask for him! He'll take excellent care of you!”

“I had no problems with this rental car company. I booked it on Expedia while we were on the bus to get to the rental area. I booked a small electric car which they were out(this is great because I didn’t know I booked electric) they gave me a charger instead and I still paid $61. I paid with a debit card so there was a $200 deposit that was released to be a few days later.. no issues with my experience”

“Got excellent customer service at Budget rental at MCI in KC. Easy check in and no issues with the car. I forgot my earbuds in the car when I returned the rental and headed off to my flight. Budget found the earbuds and fedex'd them to me within a couple days. Will always use Budget at this airport in the future. Thx!”

“Fantastic, friendly counter staff from start to finish! This branch is located at the Hertz Rental counter of the rental car building, at the top of the escalators, on your right, as the team serves both companies.
Great customer service! I had an issue with my return time that was booked online, and they worked with me to fix the issue at no extra charge since it fell within the 24-hour period! I would highly recommend this branch! Always smiling and happy!”

“I would like to give a special call-out and thanks to Ginny from the Avis Preferred counter at the Kansas City Airport location. I have rented from this location 5+ times, and Ginny has handled the reservation for each. She has provided top-notch customer service each time, and sets an outstanding example. I truly appreciate her help, and hope that her commitment towards stellar customer service is recognized by Avis management.

Separately, each vehicle that I have rented from the KC Airport location has been clean and in good condition. This location is efficient and sets a great example for other Avis airport branches to follow”

“To my surprise (based off the reviews I read) - I had no issues.

I reserved a vehicle via Priceline about a week prior to my pickup date. The day before pickup, I googled this Hertz location, read some of the reviews, and felt pretty nervous about what kind of experience I was going to have the following day. On Saturday, July 20th, I took an Uber to the Hertz office and arrived at approx 11:45 AM. I had reserved a Chevy Malibu (or equivalent) for Saturday (noon) through Friday (4:00 PM). The rep welcomed me and looked up my reservation. He had a Hyundai Sonata waiting for me in the valet lane of the Westin Crown Hotel. The rep reviewed my ID and the credit card I made the reservation with, offered me insurance and didn't push it when I declined. He then went outside to take 'before' pictures of the vehicle. He provided me with the keys and I was all set.
The Sonata was clean (both exterior and interior) and the fuel level was accurately recorded at 3/4 tank. I drive a 2007 Accord, and I was very pleased with the Sonata. It drove very smooth (zero lurching when it shifted gears), had modern safety features like adaptive cruise control and a rearview camera, and it was super easy to connect my iPhone via Apple Car Play (and then delete the device). I didn't have a single problem with the car.
I returned the car (with a full tank) on Friday, July 26th, at 4:00 PM. The checkout process took 5 minutes or less - no surprises or hidden fees.
Altogether, I had a perfect experience with this Hertz location, and I thank them for it. I will definitely return if I need to rent a car again.”
