Macy’s, a historic and iconic department store established in 1858, operates over 740 stores nationwide and offers shopping online. The Macy’s location at Rogue Valley Mall features a wide selection of top fashion brands such as Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Clinique, Estee Lauder, and Levis. Customers can find clothing, shoes, housewares, gifts, and furniture in select stores. Customer experiences vary at Macy’s. One shopper praised the helpfulness and friendliness of a staff member at the Estee Lauder counter, highlighting excellent service and a positive shopping experience. Another customer shared their satisfaction with Macy’s for building a professional wardrobe, especially appreciating the quality, variety, and frequent discounts and sales. They found great deals during a "Friends & Family" sale, securing items like blouses, a blazer, and a skirt at significantly reduced prices, thanks to coupons, Macy’s Money, and clearance racks. The staff’s helpfulness and styling advice added to the enjoyable shopping experience. However, some reviews note that the Rochester Macy’s feels old and dated, with a limited selection in the men's section and few shoppers, giving it a less lively atmosphere. Despite this, the overall impression remains positive, especially regarding staff service. One particularly commendable employee named Michelle was described as friendly, informative, and attentive, going out of her way to assist with online orders and making the shopping experience memorable. Overall, Macy’s offers a mix of quality products, good deals, and friendly service, though some locations may feel less vibrant or modern.
Marshall's HAS to stop packing their clothes so tight that you can't even spread them apart to look at them. It's getting ridiculous! They have to do better! Nobody goes shopping to fight with clothes and have half of them fall on the floor to be stepped on. Not everything has to be put out at once!

Bought some cosmetics at Estee Lauder counter before Christmas. Was there a new lady working and I was so impressed by her. She was taking care of customers, helping with the smile on her face. Thank you so much. Sorry, I don't remember your name.

Really feels more like a Sears than a Macy's. The men's section is very tired and limited. Nearly impossible to find anything smaller than a large or XL. With how limited we are in Rochester it is worth a look by I almost always leave empty handed.
