“Lovely children’s bookstore that is quirky and clearly designed with young ones in mind. Staff is always happy to help or recommend books; cats roam freely through the store, and a few other animals call the bookstore home too. The best. :)”
“I happened upon this fantastic bookstore while working in St. Paul from Texas. Was looking for antique shops to bring some gifts back to family. SO glad I stopped in.”
“This is an awesome indie bookstore with selections in a wide range of genres. The owner is a honey but has a hint of sass. Perfect! They know their inventory and can order almost anything you want.”

“What an amazing and welcoming bookstore! It’s so nice to be greeted in a genuine fashion by someone who is interested in their customers. This is a charming little shop absolutely packed with paperbacks. It’s definitely worth a visit!”
“I've always loved Barnes and nobles! As a mom of 4 who are all at different stages of reading I find this barnes and noble so accommodating. The childrens section is full of good exciting books for all ages, and their toys range from education to crafty. Their adult sections are good as well. Although rather hard to navigate In the romance area. They lack many trendy books in store, in the dark romance genre. But other wise amazing.
The staff was great, and super friendly. The business was clean and stocked well in every other area.
This one even has a records/media section which I found very neat.
And I will hands down always love the nifty little stalls for knick packs of the season.”
“Staff were so friendly! I was asked multiple times while shopping if I was finding everything alright, and the cashier chatted to me about my book I was buying! Clean and organized store :) amazing selection!
Also, very wheelchair friendly!!”
“A lovely bookstore. The staff is very knowledgeable and happy to find you whatever you are looking for. I also recommend this spot if you need to sell books, especially textbooks.”

2041 Ford Pkwy, St Paul“My daughter and I always have the best time here looking for treasures. They buy back our old books while we shop! Stacks are well-organized and there is a great selection. Don't miss the basement!”
“This Half Price Books location is my favorite bookstore in the Twin Cities it has really friendly staff, including the store manager who helped me find the books I was looking for even scheduling me an in-store pickup for a book that was out of stock. Did I mention they carry a good selection of physical media: used CDs, LPs, DVDs/Blu-rays, video games, and more? If you're looking for a great bookstore, just go here and see for yourself!! ? ? ? ??”

4300 Glumack Dr, St Paul“Whenever I am traveling through the MSP Airport, I stop into this delightful little bookstore. The employees are actually readers who can provide information and qualified suggestions about their books, and although small, they have a remarkably wide range of fiction and nonfiction sections. Although obviously they charge full cover price, anyone devoted to supporting physical bookstores should shop here.”
10AM - 6PM
714 Cleveland Ave S, St Paul“This is my go-to stop for baby gifts! They have a remarkable selection of clothes, stuffed animals, toys, books, and general baby/new parent necessities. Everything in the store is clearly picked out with great care. I especially love the baby paper (soft material that produces a crinkly paper sound when touched) for a little congratulations gift. Their staff are delightful and their complimentary gift wrapping is so celebratory and chic.”
“Having come to Mackin after a series of abusive and/or indifferent employers, working here is a real breath of fresh air. "Dignity" is the word that comes to mind. Nobody peering over your shoulder, treating you like a child, using fear tactics to keep employees in line. They trust you to show up and do your job and have policies in place to make work as comfortable as possible in a warehouse environment. Everyone I have met here has been super friendly and supportive. Benefits for full-time employees are competitive and for the work you're doing the pay is decent. Never get that fight-or-flight feeling that I'm used to around department heads or shift leads. Don't buy into the slander, in my experience this is a great company to work for. 5 stars well-earned.”
“I needed to kill time today and my daughter asked for a manga book so I stopped by this B&N location for a while. The Wi-Fi was strong so I worked for an hour, while munching on a tasty cupcake and doing a little shopping. It’s an older location but I like the selection of art books and journals and I found the manga my daughter wanted.”
