“My child loves this store and no stop at MOA is complete without a stop here. This visit we had a few books we were specifically looking for. The associate who helped us was very knowledgeable and friendly. She quickly helped us find what we were looking for. This location is very large and has a tremendous amount of variety. The sale sections are also plentiful, easy to find a new read/game/song/movie. The children's section is very welcoming and full of great selections for young readers. All staff I have ever encountered here has been pleasant and helpful. It's always busy but, they keep the line moving quickly. We will always return because, books rule!”

“This is the coolest toy and game store I have ever seen. They have old school toys, new toys, and the odd toy. I found some hard to find toys for my collection. The employees are always polite and helpful. They also have unique Lego sets and board games.”

“Love having a bookstore like Barnes and Noble. They always highlight new and popular books, and have wonderful displays to browse and shop from. I always love to support book stores, and this is one of the few south of the river options for new books. I miss the days book stores were in abundance, so I do my best to shop here as much as I can to support them. Staff are helpful, and have helped me find books that aren't always on the shelves.”

“Having come to Mackin after a series of abusive and/or indifferent employers, working here is a real breath of fresh air. "Dignity" is the word that comes to mind. Nobody peering over your shoulder, treating you like a child, using fear tactics to keep employees in line. They trust you to show up and do your job and have policies in place to make work as comfortable as possible in a warehouse environment. Everyone I have met here has been super friendly and supportive. Benefits for full-time employees are competitive and for the work you're doing the pay is decent. Never get that fight-or-flight feeling that I'm used to around department heads or shift leads. Don't buy into the slander, in my experience this is a great company to work for. 5 stars well-earned.”
