“The kimbaps are quickly made to order and come out still warm. I got the original and bulbogi, which are both excellent. The rice has a wonderful texture and filling is generous. Most of the prepared foods seem to be made from scratch, including the rice cake deserts!The service here is great as well! I had some questions about the different types of Kimchi and a lady who looks like she might be the owner came out from the back to give me advice on which type to get! They are super friendly and the food is great!They definitely deserve all your business.”
“I can’t remember the last time I walked into a business and felt so welcomed almost feeling like part of the Salvaggio family.
This wasn’t on one single occasion. Over the past week I had to visit local in Troy,MI (of my own doing).
I was working on a surprise party for my friend. Each time I was greeted shown around and given something added tips and tricks I hadn’t even thought about, making this event a tremendous success for all of us.

“My family now loves Aldi's orange juice and its string cheese is great too (second only to Kraft brand) and I love the large frozen scallops that Aldi sells. I find good value for the money for those items.”

House Plants near the front door all seemed pest free. Every displayed plant looked excellent. I'd still soap them upon purchase, but much better than let's say Kroger.
Produce looked pretty good, with a few oddball offerings.
They have a whole aisle of essential oils, so if you are into witchcraft, this place will suit you fine.
They also have bulk bars of soap for $6 a bar. Too expensive for everyday, but it would look great when company comes over.
There were about a dozen Teslas in the parking lot, Whole Foods should install a few chargers.”

“What to say. You need to be Eastern European to even understand the shop. But if you are interested in a simple lunch hot pocket, you need to try their cheese buric. Just stay away from the spinach buric, that's all mine all the time. I mean, it's war if you don't believe me...lol...”

“The fruits and vegetables are fresh. The staff is ready to work with you. They'll even escort you to help you find items, although I said that's okay... Just point me there. Prices vary but you can find good deals. They'll even put you on a bit of a scavenger hunt with their find 5 deals... But it's worth it”
“This Kroger isn't close to me but I tried it because I'm disappointed with closer ones. It's pretty good as Krogers go. - It has a well-arranged produce section with many tables. The produce looked uniformly good. - It has the usual bakery, deli, and fresh meals counters as well as a Murray's cheese shop (not found in every Kroger). It even had cheese samples out, which is very unusual. - There were more items in stock than at my local Krogers (yes!). - The often-irritating Kroger background music is blissfully toned down. I heard another shopper say that not all Krogers are this nice, which is true. While it can't escape the middlebrow nature driven by corporate (would that Wegmans would venture here...), it does well given that.”

“After the Kroger pharmacy closer to my house was repeatedly canceling my prescriptions and treating me poorly when I followed their directions to call about next steps getting them filled, I permanently switched to this location. Not only do they get my medications filled promptly, but the people I have interacted with have been so kind and helpful! Please give everyone there a raise, they are doing a wonderful job.”

“This is an older Kroger, conveniently located for West Troy residents, but rumored to be closing due to its proximity to other, newer Kroger stores. That would be a shame, as most employees are friendly and helpful, especially at the self checkout. (The deli is a notable exception.) The lines can get long, although another cluster of self checkouts was recently added (but rarely open, however). Produce quality is just OK, but the employees in this department are usually willing to check in back for additional stock when requested.”

“There's probably not alot you can say about a grocery store unless it stands out greatly in some way. Unfortunately this is not that case. I shop here quite often and I'm happy doing so, I can mostly find everything I need with a few exceptions. Although lately they seem to be lacking in stock fairly often. The last few times I've been there, no milk was stocked but visible thru the racks, I actually had to go back into the cooler and get the milk myself (I partially stocked the racks while in there) this happened twice. You'd also be hard pressed to find an employee over 18 years on the evening shift. That's not necessarily a bad thing but curious nonetheless. With all that being said, it is clean and the staff is polite, the produce, deli and meat dept. are adequate. It's a nice store albeit average.”

“For residents of Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills and southwest Troy who want to go Krogering, the Coolidge Road location is your best choice. The employees are friendly and helpful, the shelves are well stocked, and the produce is good, albeit overpriced if not on sale. Checkout lines can get long, especially if you don't want to do self checkout. The program running on the self checkout registers is maddening. It constantly detects false positives for item counts, triggered by movement and relocation of items which have already been scanned. I pity the employees who must constantly run from one register to another to respond to these issues and the constant coupon issues. Other stores don't seem to have nearly as many checkout problems.”
