“On thanksgiving eve.. i was lots of miles away from friends and family picking up a grocery order at gordon food. While loading my jeep the wind shut my door and locked me out. With only 2hrs left to shop & 20% battery i was so in trouble. The staff allowed me to wait inside store, they let me use the iPhone charger!! They were so helpful and nice from the time i walked in to the time the tow company unlocked my jeep!! The manager put my items in freezer that I didn’t load in jeep! I must say i was shopping in the right place and without them being so kind I would’ve had a nervous breakdown!I appreciate the service and thoughtfulness of me being left in cold for hours!”
“If you're willing to pay for the good vibes then shop here! Yes it's pricey but you are quite literally paying for the atmosphere. This place is never super busy where it makes grocery shopping overwhelming. They have a large selection of brands you don't run into often. Lots of local products and a fantastic staff. The parking lot is large and easy to navigate just like the layout of the floor. If you're willing to spend a little more id recommend this store to you in a heartbeat.”

And I have to admit, I never had any bad experience here at all with the goods or the food.The store is also always very clean. The staff is friendly and has aleays a smile on their face.Unfortunately, they have lately installed self checkout, which is one of the lesser pleasant experiences there. This interface is one of the worst I have experienced, on a self checkout.”
“This location is ideally suited for nearby neighborhoods. Tons of parking, easy access to hospital and Livernois or Walton. It's not a "full-size" Kroger, so many people are frustrated by the narrow aisles, limited selection and lack of high end Kroger amenities. My rationale for shopping here is different. I love it because it has great selection for the essentials, is laid out beautifully, and is perfect for grabbing "quite a few quick things". If you need more than a party store, but don't want to head to a super store or Meijer or Target, then this location is perfect.”

“This is my go to Kroger. The store is the perfect size and is organized well. You can get in and out in quickly with everything you need! “Inside Papa Joe's - I was reluctant at first but Ali convinced me he made a great shawarma. They are premade and ready to go in the deli window but they can also make it while you wait. Great flavor, tender chicken and simply delicious - I don't have to travel 20 minutes to Pita Cafe anymore!”
“We are so happy and thrilled with a custom cake that Deanna made for us last weekend at the Rochester Hills bakery at Whole Foods. My family was celebrating our mother's 85th birthday and dragonfly's are very meaningful to us. I purchased a stained piece with a dragonfly and Deanna created a beautiful cake around it. The cake was absolutely gorgeous! I cried when I picked it up as I was so overcome with emotion. We so appreciated Deanna and her artistic talent!”

I do have to give a shout out to my favorite employee Dan, had such a sweet interaction and he is just one of the many employees that brighten up my day when I see them.”
“Well, in general I have always loved Meijer, from the beginning of me! Though good times and not so good.Seems like right now, Meijer doing some good things... early closing hours on Thanksgiving, better store layouts, remodeling in some. Yes, in some departments (clothes) may find a little higher pricing (but still will find great sales) but the clothes and the like compared to other mass general merchants are WAY better quality.Now, specifically Rochester Hills location. Beautiful store. But huge. Some of the item layouts don't make sense to me. Such as if you are in beverage area or paper products and decide to need a gallon of milk or something in freezer, get ready to walk. Just because some items may be grocery related does not mean they are on same side of store. And grocery and freezer items are opposite side and in the Middle of the store. Hmmm.But I took time to add pluses and minuses, as I was thinking 4 stars just for size, placement of some items, etc. in the end all totaled - store gets 5 stars. Amazingly clean, organized, polite and helpful employees all over, and even a bakery that seems a bit above some other locations. 5 Stars. Great Meijer store.”

“My experience at this Walmart was good. The lady at the checkout register was very patient with me and double checked a price for a seasonal blend container with mixed fruit. It was early morning and the market wasn't crowed which made for a quick trip, being that I was headed to work.”
“First visit here, since pre covid. EVERYONE was wearing masks properly. All employees friendly and helpful. Many of the aisles are being revamped- lots of aisles have no signage up yet. Still out of quite a few items. Why is there no diet squirt anywhere? Toothpaste was wiped out, as was Advil, Tylenol section. No lines a bottle return !”
“clearly, all walmarts are not created equal. i used to only go to walmart out of desperation or bc there was a big enough sale on something i couldn't find anywhere else. between my own experiences and the memes online, my opinion of walmart was pretty low. i didn't like the store, the employees or the customers. hated the parking lot. hated the font in their logo. just loathed everything about it. but one day, i had to go into this particular walmart and i've had to rethink my overall perception of this chain. not only are the aisles relatively neat (could be better) but they're well-stocked. employees are helpful. customers are fully clothed and have all their teeth. and they're open 24 hours! i was pleasantly surprised. so why not 5 stars? bc it's still walmart, not target. that's why.”

“This is the cleanest Meijer I have seen in a long time and the lines were not wrapped around the store. I can't tell you about the customer service because I haven't used any but I see everyone stocking and hyper focused and their tasks so that's a good thing. Seems that they have a very large liquor beer section that has a lot of sales - Don't judge me that's my area that's what I'm reviewing. Also if you're coming for food hot food in the morning they don't start serving hot until 11:00 a.m. how do I know this It's because it's 10:45 so I'm casually walking around the store buying time and reviewing. Lol! Side note since everything has gone to self check out and goes a little bit faster but unfortunately I only see one register open that has a physical person. Other than that it's a decent store maybe it's because I picked the right time to go or what but I'm impressed. Happy shopping!!!”
