John M. Redmond founded the family business in the mid 1930 s at 1225 N. Washington. The location on N. Washington was sold 5 years ago. The four Redmond sons started their own automotive businesses and Ken Redmond s establishment has been on Bay Rd for 30 years. Starting as a full service automobile repair shop, Redmond s has now grown into a thriving truck accessory, car stereo, and rental business. Redmond s has been selling truck accessories and stereo equipment for nearly 20 years and repairing vehicles for 30 years at the Bay Road location. The Redmond family has provided quality service for over 70 years.
