We built a home in 2020 and the construction loan process was smooth as silk throughout the build; our GC had zero issues with them nor did we.
The transition to LMCU mortgage after construction was completed with ease and any overages were not applied until final closing, i.e. no downpayment was required prior to construction starting. Brent Green and his team were amazing from start to helping us transition from a conventional mortgage to a VA loan which can be a nightmare but not with LMCU - it was seamless and pleasant. The communication was clear and thorough without any lag in responses when we had questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Additionally the ladies at the Rochester Hills location are so fun, friendly and helpful every single time I walk in which is maybe every other month or so.
Today, due to an "Acts of Kindness" LMCU does to give back to the community, we were randomly chosen to have our vehicle payment (another loan we have through them...also super reasonable and efficient) covered by them in January so the amount was deposited in our savings account today to be used at our discretion.

Jose was polite, helpful and took the time to address my questions and provide me with clear answers. “This probably one of the less assuming Genisys's (that's a real word I just made up), smaller and tucked away in the corner of a strip mall but the service is exceptional, particularly Shawanda Estelle. I applied for a small personal loan and she was beyond helpful. She made me feel like I was her top priority and genuinely a sweet, kind person. Several months later my daughter was looking to finance a car and I knew right where to send her, and once again the personal service was outstanding, which in turn made me look good in my daughter's eyes. The app is user friendly and intuitive, my only small critique is the ATM. Abit outdated. To make a deposit it needs to feed you an envelope, you fill it out and feed it back. Because of this it has to be manually checked in by staff which takes longer to hit your account which can take a couple days.”

“I must give enormous thanks to Andrea, Athena, and Alca (Forgive me if I miss spelled your names). There was fraudulent activity on my debt account, I was very concerned and upset apon my arrival. They reassured me they'd find the problem and settle any issues. They worked together (very quickly I must say 10-15mins tops) took care of the fraudulent charges appearing on my account. Ordered me a brand new debt card, and also provided a temporary card until my new debt card arrives. This process was all made very easy for me due to their professionalism and A1 customer service. Thank you Ladys for providing top notch care for your customers. You all deserve to be giving a raise in my opinion. I will refer this location to friends and family. I will also give my business for any and all of my future banking endeavors. Place got energy bec of the staff there, specially Sue who not only is knowledgeable but also genuinely humorous, creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
