“I don't understand all of the negative reviews for this location. It is small, and does have a smaller selection of items for purchase versus other locations, but the selling experience was identical to other locations. They don't want to take what they don't want to take... whether it is new, used, young, mature or otherwise; and that is their right.”
“We got outfit for the my grandma for my wedding, and both uncle and aunty were extremely helpful and took really good care of us. The outfits were beautiful with great quality of material. They were very patient and showed us variety of styles. One benefit I found helpful was they do their own tailoring so we didn’t to look for one outside. We had an amazing experience!!”

“Variety silks has a very good silk sarees collection. Haven’t come across any other store in Metro Detroit to have pure silk and tissue silk sarees. The owner is super helpful and a nice lady. Loved this store!”

“I came here after a bad experience at Runway Fashions and immediately had a better experience! My younger sister was very nervous and upset about dress shopping from the previous experience at a different shop and as soon as she walked in she said that all the women in this place were so nice! She tried on about 8 different dresses and even though they were busy when we came in they still made their best effort to make sure we were acknowledged and happy with our experience. Due to extenuating circumstances my mom was not able to take my younger sister dress shopping, the amazing women at this shop allowed us to face time my mom and show her the dresses my sister was trying on so she could be apart of it too, even though there normally is a no photography rule. They gave professional opinions to help our dress search and were very uplifting and made my younger sister feel very confident and happy with the whole experience. I’m super glad I came here and I am very happy my sister feels confident and happy with her choice with the help of the two women working today! Thank you Stars Fashion, we will definitely be back!!”

“The Carhartt clothing store is always great. With many options in house for purchase. But, what makes this place so special is the Carhartt WorkShop on the second floor. Literally a library of almost any tool you might need for any project, be it lawn, home, or even repairing your vehicle. The tools are actually free to borrow, just like going to the library. Be sure to bring those tools back on time folks because they are very nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable, but they are also very serious about getting their tools back and will prosecute in a heartbeat. If you're not a nefarious individual and handy with tools, this is the ultimate man caver's dream shop!!!”
“The tour we took of the Fisher Building was crammed with information, from basic facts to behind-the-scenes tidbits. Well-researched, informative, and entertaining. I highly recommend checking this out, as well as browsing the unique little shop filled with Detroit-themed tcotchkes, books, tees, sweats, glassware, and Pewabic Pottery tiles & coasters.”
