I was told when they took my money "it'll only be for two days"..two days go by."sometimes 3 to four days"..
you should've been honest from the start...Was also supposed to be $200..they tacked on for so many "fees" that it cost doubled that,and I had the car for only 24 hrs!

AB was responsible for assigning me the car and also help me with the drop off, and he did a great job, as the branch I originally made the booking at was closed hence I had to drop off at watertown branch, which was closed on Sunday. He made it sure that I wasnt charged twice and helped me overall. Would definitely recommend and rent again from them.”

15 Transportation Wy, East Boston“rented a SUV 2 months ago while travelling in Maine and Boston. Car was washed and clean just before given to me. It was a hybrid Tuson. All ppl are very helpful and friendly, especially Diana, who answered all my questions patiently and pointed me the way to entrance to car rental center to return the car(I was worrying of getting lost in the complicated exit/entrance in airport). I did not wait for car, and I am glad I switched just days before travelling from another rental company at Logan airport, for which negative comments are posted about hours of waiting, to Alamo, which never disappointed me till now, in TX, DC, Boston... I hope next trip with Alamo would also be satisfying.”

“Big shout out to Liam, Olivia, Darion, and Cleber!!! Great service every time I rent from there, which is at least twice a month. My last rental I had made a reservation a couple of days before, and on the day I had to pick it up I woke up feeling so terrible I could barely get up. But I needed the rental so I had to force myself to get there. And when I did get there Liam seen how I was and immediately asked if was OK and offered me seat. After I told him what is going on, he told don't worry just sit there and he'll get me taken care of. And that was what he and everyone else there did. They all worked together to help me out. They have a really good team there, and I really appreciate them for helping out every time I go there, and for them just being great.”

This really meant the world to me bc when your car gets totaled the funds are low and for me I was unable to function at times bc I was swarmed with worry . However The General Manager, His colleague Riley and all of his staff treated me so well and again assisted me as they knew I was a fish out of water . And bc of the team here I was able to chill for some moments and for me that good , trust me.bThere kindness is second to none therefore I just have to take the time to leave them a receiew that I hardly ever do . But Enterprise Corporate should know that there Enterprise in Somerville has an outstanding team !
The Diligent customer service I received at Enterprise wowed me for sure. I'll be back bc I'm sure I will need a car to look for a car . The only regret I have is that it's slipping my mind at the moment of the name of the young gentleman who I'm pretty sure is the GM . I'm gonna guess and say Joe but I maybe arong ... If he isn't the GM he should be ,hint to corporate . So again thank you Enterprise Staff for assisting me throughout this sudden misfortune . You made it tenfold easier to navigate thru it all.

“I first signed up for a Zipcar membership in Madison, WI, and generally had very positive experiences there. When I moved to Boston and had a look at all these reviews I was kind of dreading the occasions when I would really *need* to rent one. I just figured, well, in a major city things are bound to be more chaotic. But I've rented 3x now with them and I was very happy with all of my experiences. I did have to contact customer service for each rental to deal with some issues (e.g., locked gate for returning the car, previous renter very late), but I got through very quickly to someone, and each of the people I spoke with was super helpful and very friendly. *However*. . . it's important to go into this with sensible expectations and to be prepared to change things up if needed. For my most recent rental, the person who had the car before me was stuck in traffic and eventually we had to switch to another car--not the company's fault, that just happens. For my trouble, I was offered a significant discount, which I appreciated, mostly because it allowed me to take care of a lot more errands by having the car for longer. In terms of renting strategically, you can do the following: (1) try to rent a vehicle that's in a less busy neighborhood, less usage on the car; (2) check out the vehicle in person beforehand to see if it's pretty beat up and more likely to present problems--also to figure out where the car is parked, which is not always easy to figure out; (3) try to choose a vehicle that does not have a lot of rental time before or after to avoid being delayed and to allow you to extend time if needed. To be honest, if I had someplace important to be (wedding, business meeting), I would either not rent a Zipcar, or have a back-up plan. Customer service: it's quite possible you may end up speaking with someone who is not in the U.S., not shocking that they're outsourcing. But the people I spoke with had perfectly good English, and I found them very pleasant. You would think from reading this whole string of reviews that literally everyone who rents a Zipcar has some kind of nightmarish experience. I'm going to guess that anyone who has a terrible experience is much more likely to post here?”
