“The name may have changed to Mavis Tires & Brakes (It used to be NTB, then NTW.) but the service remains great. I started coming here in the 90s, when I moved to Woburn, and have had all six of my cars serviced here over the years. Today was brake rotors and pads all around. I asked a lot of questions and they showed me all, both the old and the newly installed hardware. Friendly and professional service, as always.”

“The TowneLine team was great! I recently put a 2013 SmartCar on the road that had not been properly maintained. I arrived a little early and I was immediately greeted by Mike who asked for my keys and had the service begun slightly ahead of schedule. Mike and Jimmy managed my expectations and their technician diagnosed potentially serious issues that I was unaware of before my visit. Mike provided me with an estimate for the work that they recommended so that I had it in writing and didn't have to try to remember what needed to be done and when. While waiting for the work on a very hot August afternoon, I was very comfortable in the TowneLine air conditioned waiting room. “The price was very fair to have 4 new 19” all season tires mounted and balanced. Service writer and technician both did a good job.Car was done ahead of time and I was called when it was ready. Tires were balanced nicely and my car rides smoothly at highway speeds.It would have been nice if my winter wheels were placed in tire bags before going back into my vehicle, but to be fair I never asked for that nor was I promised it. That was just how we did things at the shop I used to work at.”
“Been going here for about a year now and i really love their service. The ladies at the front desk are always friendly and billy is a wonderful guy. He always takes care of my old 2004 corolla! Last time i took it in to get the oil changed and they didn’t mention but surprised me by charging up my AC so it could blast cool air for the summer. Highly recommend these folks ??”

“I am so glad I found this place. I don’t like going to the large dealerships to get maintenance on my car so I called Hometown auto and had a great experience. They were very respectful. The job was done quickly and it was nowhere near the price I had been paying at other places. In addition I had, experienced driving through floodwater about two months ago and called them to find out if my car should be seen for possible damage. They were again so helpful, understanding and offered for me to come by the next day so they could check my car out. I highly recommend Hometown Auto! I will be back.”

“John is the only mechanic I trust with major repairs in the whole Boston area. I’ve done business with him three times now, and every time he has been courteous, professional and honest. I’d say I actually know how to take better care of my car now, because of how well he explains issues and what steps he took to solve them. There are other good mechanics out there, but go to this guy if you need major work done and need someone you can trust. His turnaround times are quick, he’s flexible on scheduling, and he won’t let you down.”
