“Due to my bank here in Natick closing their safe deposit boxes I did a little research and listened to friends and received all positive input about Middlesex savings bank, in downtown Natick. Simply a pleasure! From the Branch manager, John King - to and including the young man, "Alex"ander MacLellan who did all the paperwork, legwork and all around "old school" customer service, .. it was the most pleasant and professional experience I've had in a long time. From my initial goal of obtaining a new safe deposit box, Alex explained over and above, without "salesmanship" pushing, all that Middlesex offered, ways I could benefit my specific situation and treated me like family "old school customer service?! To me, possibly the most important ingredient of any business. All of my banking business will be shifted to Middlesex and proudly would recommend them for anyone considering any banking. Quality people who are very well trained, have been with the company for considerable time which said a lot to me. My highest praise; "Compassionate Professionals".”

“I prefer local banks to the national brand as the service is less sterile. Enter in Cambridge Trust. I know the branch manager from a previous bank, and was super excited when I found out he landed here (literally walking by to go to the Dunks that is beside it) We talked and were able to have an apples to apples discussion about what CT had to offer, and how they operated. Matt S. is just wonderful, all the information he furnished was spot on. Every promise they made was kept. Every time I walk in to this bank they treat me like the Governor. You learn everyone's name and they remember yours. There is a familiarity that is comforting. They are also whole show. Personal/business/investing. If you want to find comfort and support, this is the bank...this is the branch for you. There is literally nothing they could do better in my opinion (they even carry $2 bills for me without giving me side eye). Talk to them.”

“I just had the most enjoyable time spent at a bank. I went into this branch to get a replacement debit card because mine was comprised. That was caught by the bank as well. At any rate, I couldn't wait for it to be mailed, so into the bank I go. Everyone in this branch was super friendly, helpful, and professional. They knew and greeted regular patrons by name. “I sent them a big check from my Bank of America account to pay down my Home Equity loan. It took two weeks to get there. By the time it got there, I had been told by my accountant that I needed to pay a large sum to the IRS. They called --personally--when the check arrived and said: "This check is so big and so old we wanted to make sure you still want to deposit it." I said, "No, I gotta send it to the IRS. So you can tear it up." She said: "OK. I"m putting it in the shredder right now." How totally cool is that? What amazing personal service! B of A would never have done such a thing, not even close.”

“Finally a bank that called to verify a check!Glad that some banks are doing the right thing finally and this should continue until they find a solution with this check frauds that are happening.A kind gentleman called my house and I didn’t answer the first time but he called again which prompted me to answer. His name was Nagir Valsbdi from Rockland trust in Belmont (hope I’m spelling his name right). He called to ask if a $4,700 check that someone was trying to check was valid. This time it was valid. Really appreciate him reaching out before I could have been a victim of another check washing scam that happened to my mother and I a few weeks back totaling almost $30k. That was with citizens bank.. maybe all banks should start verifying every check that looks altered, are mobile deposited or is over let’s say $2500 or so. Rockland trust are on top of their game. Just cause if this I feel like closing all my accounts with citizens bank who yet have returned the money defrauded from us and only use Rockland Trust.Anyways thank you Nagir for taking the extra step to make sure these checks that are being cashed at your bank are legit.
