“As always Aubuchon Hardware in Franklin had exactly what I needed. A snowstorm was forecast and I needed new quality snow shovels. A good selection was readily available. The store staff are always friendly and most helpful. A well run business which is a credit to the store manager. Once again I leave Aubuchon Hardware very satisfied!”

“Woooow, this is an arboreal maintenance candy AND toy store! I decided I wanted to stop in to pick up a replacement chainsaw bar and chain as I backed over my last one with my garden tractor, anyhow. So, I go looking online for a replacement. An Oregon is the OEM bar that my ~15 year old Craftsman electric chainsaw had. Luckily there’s a replacement and a certified local official retailer to acquire it from! So I get on the phone and the customer service representative made me worried about the educational standards for the folk outside of New England. I just wanted to have the bar shipped to the store for pickup so Id have a reason to visit and see what kind of equipment they have for me to needlessly lust after. They did not understand how shipping works for some reason and got upset with me. Anyhow it came I picked it up. There’s more to the story but I’ve got to go hang with my family. They all just woke up. Stay pruned for the next chapter.”
“Called here today for a discontinued toolbox. A woman with a cool Irish accent was so patient and kind with me on the phone while I asked her to look up several different sku # to see what they had in stock. When I arrived, the same woman, Rachel, was just as kind, patient and thorough in person as she was on the phone. Jess, the woman who rang me up, was super friendly and kind. She engaged with my 6 month old son who I was carrying and made him smile. When Rachel and Brian were loading my purchases onto my trailer, Brian and I engaged about the device he used to bring the toolboxes outside, he was also kind and friendly. I had a wonderful experience with this purchase, and it was also my birthday, which made the experience even better! I'd make this my go to HFT if it wasn't so far from my home. But I'll be back to shop when I'm in the area!! THANK YOU!”

“We needed playground wood chips for our back yard. Called Sam White & Sons in Medfield and were able to schedule a delivery within a few days. I ordered 5 yards and that was a bit too much (the guy on the phone estimated 10-14 yards, that would be enough for a whole school playground...)The truck driver was excellent, managed to maneuver the truck thru our driveway (somewhat narrow with overhanging tree limbs) into our back yard. He was professional, kind and friendly.We bought what they call "certified playground wood chips", but I was disappointed because a lot of it is thin sawdust, the fine fibers get into your nose and throat even when the material is wet, you need to wear a mask when spreading it around. I doubt it will last more than a couple of years. My advice is to order the coarse wood chips, I think that's the stuff you see at school playgrounds, larger chips, less fine dust.Overall- they grossly overestimated the quantity we needed, and the material they recommended was not the best for our needs. But still- great service, fair prices, recommended!”
“The Mansfield Home Depot is a great location for home owner and contractor supplies.This location has a excellent inventory and almost always meets my needs.The staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful . Many are individuals retired from skilled positions and able to give one tips and knowledgeable insight.The products provided are of the best value and quality. “Rocky’s Ace Hardware in Millis, MA is always helpful and attentive to its customers. But the experience I had yesterday was truly exceptional. The battery in my car fob died, and I couldn’t start the car. Justin at Rocky’s Ace Hardware located the correct battery, and opened the fob and replaced it for me. It wasn’t that easy to maneuver the fob to get it open, and then figure out how to release the battery. I’m so grateful to Justin and all the employees at Rockys!!”

“I'm writing this review specifically to give kudos to Derek Rock who delivered a huge load of lumber to my house. Derek was put in a tough situation where the driveway where the delivery could be placed was needed for a dumpster instead. There were not many places to put the load for a small house on a small street. He was able to suggest out of the box ideas and was able to expertly and quickly place all the huge pallets that took up nearly every foot of available space on the front of my property. He was very careful to cause as little damage to our lawn and bushes as possible. I am very grateful for Derek and the care he treated my property as if it were his own. Thanks so much!”

I was in need of screws for assembling a table but had no idea what I was looking for. Steve Quinn in the hardware section went above and beyond to help me figure the situation out. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. Over the past couple of years, we have been renovating a multi-family home in Dorchester, and Mark has been especially helpful in working with our contractor on quotes, making product recommendations and setting up delivery to Boston at a very reasonable cost. When we needed to order replacement windows and sliding glass doors, Mark referred us to his colleague, Tom, who specializes in these products. Tom quickly got back to us with a quote, placed our order and set-up delivery. When one of the door handles arrived damaged from the factory, he immediately ordered a replacement from the manufacturer.
