“I visited seeking a new place, recommended by a friend. Delighted I came in; Chris, the leasing consultant, stood out as the friendliest I've encountered. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny, without any pressure – a refreshing experience compared to most leasing agents in the DC area. Thank you Chris! Excited about the possibility of living here; just waiting for a few things to finalize on my end.”

“OMG... MEGA SHOUT OUT TO TAYLOR DAVIS at the Barrett leasing office. This mega awesome individual helped me through the process of leasing an apartment and helping me every step of the way. The process was a bit stressful because I am currently overseas, and she ensured to keep up with my application. Thank you for your hardwork. This kind of dedication to the clients and prospects has me excited to move in. :)”

“The Alaire is by far the best lil apartment community I’ve lived at! The apartments are spacious and unique. The amenities are pop’n (they have canopies at the pool y’all!!) And easy, accessible mailroom w/ secure Amazon lockers, garage parking, fully equipped gym and the staff feels like family.Over the last two years, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to knew the staff and employees.Claudia and Sean are super attentive, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for their tenants. It’s truly been a pleasure living here! Not to mention, it’s conveniently located directly across the street from the Twinbrook Metro Station (red line) making it easy to get in and out of the city. If you’re looking for your next apartment home… This Is The Place!”

“we're around 8 months in our lease and we couldn't be happier with the building and staff. The staff really makes the building, problems are bound to happen anywhere but what matters is how issues are addressed. Any time we had maintenance requests they were promptly handled by Terance and Ishmeal in the best way possible, no half measures, solved for good and on record time. The desk staff is always friendly and incredibly helpful, Tierra and Ayanna helped me many times with many things, always very responsive. Thank you!”

“I had nothing but positive experiences at Landmark. It is one of the best living options in college park and has better amenities than most of the other buildings. Great place to live”

“I'm very happy with my two year residency at 1800 Oak. It's super clean, safe, and an overall calm environment. From the front of house, to leasing office and maintenance crew, everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help. I love the location of the building and that it's a Bilt Rewards Property, so I'm able to earn points on my rent payments. (I've booked three free flights so far.) And, most importantly, my dog loves the free treats at the front desk and the fanfare when he walks through the door.”

“I had the pleasure of living here for over a year and it was the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. I recently sold my home and just wanted to have a fun apartment close to the city to live in while I figured out where to go from there. Enter Wisconsin Place. I got a 2 bed 2 bath unit that I lived in mostly alone, but with space for my college aged kids to stay on school breaks. The building is quite upscale and at a higher price point but you get what you pay for. It’s literally ON TOP of the Metro and the Whole Foods, convenience that is unmatched. The Friendship Heights neighborhood is nice and provides endless options for activities and long walks (which I loved). The units are nicely finished and mine had a big balcony. The staff is super nice and they try to know people by name, and the management runs the building well. The gym is great- almost as good as a regular gym that you’d pay for. And there’s a really cool free “party room” (I had a holiday party there and my guests loved it) as well as a theater room and a business center. The pool is small but has great chairs and never seems too crowded. I was sad to leave (I moved down the street to another Chevy Chase apartment building for a few months in advance of my planned move to California) but wouldn’t hesitate to come back to Wisconsin Place in the future. It’s totally worth the price tag. If this is in your price range, just do it! (Everyone I’ve ever met in the building also loved it!)”

“I lived at "The KW" for 7 years, ending in January 2024. During this time, I lived in both the South (built in 2000's) and Historic (built in 1932 and 1935). Leasing agents will be happy to provide a tour of either, so I'll leave descriptions of apartments out. Suffice to say, there are a variety of floor plans and none (including the studios) are shabby. Some amenities of the building (indoor heated pool, sauna, gym) are truly top-notch. The rooftop grills could be much better; but the area warmers are a great touch for those those hanging on to the outdoor space until the cold becomes unfightable. What I want to focus on is the experience. The KW courtyard is among the prettiest in DC and provides its own welcome which didn't diminish during my stay. Once inside, the main lobby provides a fantastic display of Art Deco and contains an elevated mezzanine that often provided a comfortable (and very well decorated) meeting place for myself and neighbors. This brings me to an aspect of the KW which may appeal to many, and certainly did to me. There exists a true sense of community which will match your level of engagement. That engagement spans across KW hosted activities, as well as events conducted by the Residents Association. The initiator and facilitator of these relationship is often the in-building private club/bar. For the first time, I knew dozens of my neighbors instead of just a handful. Many friendships therein will persist. The staff is mostly friendly and courteous. A few stand out as exceptional, and I'm not likely to find their equivalent again: Giovanna (Desk), Lea (Desk), Michael (Desk), Anthony (Engineering), James (Club), and Vanessa (Management). There are some things to pay attention to. This is an old building on the Historic Side; and, while the bones are great, one issue plagued my stay. Our front bathroom would begin to develop an odor several times a week. It was not mild, and smelled like a sewer. Engineering was never able to remediate this despite multiple attempts. None of my neighbors had a similar issue, so I suppose I was just lucky. In the South Wing, there is an engineering issue where water will leak past the valves in the washing machines should there be a pressure drop in the system. This could occur with the briefest power failure. If caught, Engineering will race to everyone's apartment to see if the issue is presenting and pursue resolution. If uncaught, the washing machines will fill and begin to spill over. I once had flooding in my apartment from above due to this issue. If I didn't hear the water and turn off my valves manually, the flooding would have been that much worse. Some of my neighbors had this occur multiple times. In all, I highly recommend the KW for young (Historic Wing) and old. If you're a lifelong renter, rent stabilization with a young start will provide you a home in a fabulous building at a cost that's unheard of. If you want a home to age in place, you'll find a vibrant group of neighbors who are continuously organizing get-togethers and are genuine friends.I was in the middle, and figured my best move was to buy something. I did this, however, with my wife; and I met my wife at the KW Club when I was 46. Need I say more?”

“I’ve had a very positive experience with Equity residential and 1210 Mass. Units have been renovated nicely, are spacious, include great windows for natural light, and have really nice hard floors throughout. The location of this community is truly incredible- most places you’d want to go are easily accessible by foot but metro/bus stations are near by and parking garage is convenient. The leasing, concierge, and maintenance team are all great. The building is very well taken care of and I highly recommend Ava, the community manager, to help you with any questions or needs you may have. She has been a really helpful resource to me as I look to sign a new lease in the building. Thanks, Ava!”

“Recently moved into Berkshire 15 and could not be happier with the decision. Everything from the first visit to the application to the move-in has been extremely professional and efficient. The staff is truly incredible and has already made me feel so comfortable and part of the community, and the apartment itself has great appliances / finishings. Location is also a huge positive, as it is very safe, convenient to everything I could need, and Meridian Hill park is right next door for some nice mid-day walks.”

“Have nothing but great things to say about the apartment complex, facilities, and leasing team at The Chase. We had our tour last year with Jonathan. He’s truly one of the best. He was very patient, knowledgable, enthusiastic, professional, and just an overall asset to the leasing team. He made our tour enjoyable and ultimately led to us signing and being here almost 2 years now. The building is convenient due to the metro being literally at your front door step giving you access to the city and all it has to offer. The market downstairs is phenomenal with many food and drink options. The Alamo theater is down the block which is also a plus if you are a movie goer. There’s a nice walking trail that leads to a few breweries in the case you wanted to go for a jog/walk and catch a craft beer on your way back. Overall The Chase is a great place with all the convenience one could ask for.”
