“Midsized store with fairly good organization and layout, book section is fairly small, two standing bookshelves generally mixed up. Clothing is sorted by type and then sometimes by colour way, but not by size, which leads to more time spent sorting through individual pieces and then checking sizes when shopping for someone specific. Usually one of the older price tag colours will be discounted, there is a sign at the entrance saying which colour. Pricing seemed well within typical thrift store ranges to me, items within the same category can have a range of prices e.g. women’s dresses can range from $6-$12.I would subtract half a star for the religious playlist if I could, I recommend headphones/earbuds if that’s not your thing.”

“For the longest time, I have been wanting to visit Humane Thrift Together, but I didn’t get around to it until Wednesday, February 7th, 2024 after I dropped my mom off at the Metro so she could go on her business trip. From what I saw thus far, I have to say that I really love that you can get kitchen and bedroom appliances for less than $10 a piece and sometimes, if you’re lucky, you can get a bundle for a dollar, depending on what it is that you’re looking to but.As for clothes, while I can’t guarantee that you would always manage to find that perfect piece in time for an upcoming celebration or festival, all in all, compared to the prices that I’ve seen on apps like Depop and Etsy for similar clothing items, $10 for dresses of all types and $7 for jackets of all types in my opinion are very reasonable. I mean really, why the heck are gunnie sax dresses so expensive these days?So yeah, all in all, for one bundle of two sushi mats, one usable salad spinner, one authentic kaftan, and one bundle of three soft, vintage clothes hangers, I’d say that paying approximately $16.04 total was worth it.I especially like that Humane Together Thrift supports local animals so yeah, what’s not to love about this charity shop?Oh, and not to mention that the people at the register are very nice. Please everyone, give this shop a try! I promise to you all that it would be worth the visit.”

“Mid sized thrift store— clothing items are tagged with different colours for sizing and sorted by size. The little plastic tag barbs have different colours, which may or may not be associated with discounts. Each type of clothing is supposed to be one price- dresses are all $11.99, sleeveless tops $4.99. Fitting rooms are available but close 1-1.5 hours before the store closes. There is a kind of chaotic energy to this store (see books pic), along with some organizational quirks— eg the end caps on the housewares aisles were curated by colour.”
