“Hello, and thank you for reading my positive review of NoBe Market Apartments. I just moved here and the staff at NoBe Market made me feel welcome. They are experts in the leasing process. I communicated my needs and they delivered! I love the amenities (gym, pool, club room, courtyard). The apartments are also close to a lot of 3rd spaces (Pike and Rose, Starbucks, Whole Foods). I am in the West Building which is kept up very well and secure. There is convenient access to the garage, mailroom, and package room. I hope to be a long time resident here. Thank you Cecilia, Katie, Jennifer, Toni, and staff for the warm welcome. Bravo!”

“I visited seeking a new place, recommended by a friend. Delighted I came in; Chris, the leasing consultant, stood out as the friendliest I've encountered. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny, without any pressure – a refreshing experience compared to most leasing agents in the DC area. Thank you Chris! Excited about the possibility of living here; just waiting for a few things to finalize on my end.”

“OMG... MEGA SHOUT OUT TO TAYLOR DAVIS at the Barrett leasing office. This mega awesome individual helped me through the process of leasing an apartment and helping me every step of the way. The process was a bit stressful because I am currently overseas, and she ensured to keep up with my application. Thank you for your hardwork. This kind of dedication to the clients and prospects has me excited to move in. :)”

“This review is for the leasing experience:Not sure if I will rent there yet but Crystal (leasing agent) was AMAZING! She knows the information about the place, asks good questions to understand what the tenant is looking for and is overall such a pleasant person to be around with a great personality. She seems to know the residents on a personal level as well.”

“I had the pleasure of living here for over a year and it was the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. I recently sold my home and just wanted to have a fun apartment close to the city to live in while I figured out where to go from there. Enter Wisconsin Place. I got a 2 bed 2 bath unit that I lived in mostly alone, but with space for my college aged kids to stay on school breaks. The building is quite upscale and at a higher price point but you get what you pay for. It’s literally ON TOP of the Metro and the Whole Foods, convenience that is unmatched. The Friendship Heights neighborhood is nice and provides endless options for activities and long walks (which I loved). The units are nicely finished and mine had a big balcony. The staff is super nice and they try to know people by name, and the management runs the building well. The gym is great- almost as good as a regular gym that you’d pay for. And there’s a really cool free “party room” (I had a holiday party there and my guests loved it) as well as a theater room and a business center. The pool is small but has great chairs and never seems too crowded. I was sad to leave (I moved down the street to another Chevy Chase apartment building for a few months in advance of my planned move to California) but wouldn’t hesitate to come back to Wisconsin Place in the future. It’s totally worth the price tag. If this is in your price range, just do it! (Everyone I’ve ever met in the building also loved it!)”

“I lived at "The KW" for 7 years, ending in January 2024. During this time, I lived in both the South (built in 2000's) and Historic (built in 1932 and 1935). Leasing agents will be happy to provide a tour of either, so I'll leave descriptions of apartments out. Suffice to say, there are a variety of floor plans and none (including the studios) are shabby. Some amenities of the building (indoor heated pool, sauna, gym) are truly top-notch. The rooftop grills could be much better; but the area warmers are a great touch for those those hanging on to the outdoor space until the cold becomes unfightable. What I want to focus on is the experience. The KW courtyard is among the prettiest in DC and provides its own welcome which didn't diminish during my stay. Once inside, the main lobby provides a fantastic display of Art Deco and contains an elevated mezzanine that often provided a comfortable (and very well decorated) meeting place for myself and neighbors. This brings me to an aspect of the KW which may appeal to many, and certainly did to me. There exists a true sense of community which will match your level of engagement. That engagement spans across KW hosted activities, as well as events conducted by the Residents Association. The initiator and facilitator of these relationship is often the in-building private club/bar. For the first time, I knew dozens of my neighbors instead of just a handful. Many friendships therein will persist. The staff is mostly friendly and courteous. A few stand out as exceptional, and I'm not likely to find their equivalent again: Giovanna (Desk), Lea (Desk), Michael (Desk), Anthony (Engineering), James (Club), and Vanessa (Management). There are some things to pay attention to. This is an old building on the Historic Side; and, while the bones are great, one issue plagued my stay. Our front bathroom would begin to develop an odor several times a week. It was not mild, and smelled like a sewer. Engineering was never able to remediate this despite multiple attempts. None of my neighbors had a similar issue, so I suppose I was just lucky. In the South Wing, there is an engineering issue where water will leak past the valves in the washing machines should there be a pressure drop in the system. This could occur with the briefest power failure. If caught, Engineering will race to everyone's apartment to see if the issue is presenting and pursue resolution. If uncaught, the washing machines will fill and begin to spill over. I once had flooding in my apartment from above due to this issue. If I didn't hear the water and turn off my valves manually, the flooding would have been that much worse. Some of my neighbors had this occur multiple times. In all, I highly recommend the KW for young (Historic Wing) and old. If you're a lifelong renter, rent stabilization with a young start will provide you a home in a fabulous building at a cost that's unheard of. If you want a home to age in place, you'll find a vibrant group of neighbors who are continuously organizing get-togethers and are genuine friends.I was in the middle, and figured my best move was to buy something. I did this, however, with my wife; and I met my wife at the KW Club when I was 46. Need I say more?”

“We are new here so will have to wait until we’ve lived here a little longer to comment on the actual living experience, but from current tenants we spoke to it seems to be an overall positive one. Proximity is conveniently close to the metro, area is a nice balance of quiet/“downtown”, and renovated units are modern-looking and trendy. The non-renovated units are alright and what you’d expect of an older apartment. We had a great move in experience thanks to Sean (the leasing consultant/front desk). From the application to move in, Sean was extremely responsive, helpful, and friendly. When there was a hiccup with the original unit we applied to, Sean worked closely with us to identify alternative unit options and went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. As natural skeptics we had a ton of questions throughout the process, but Sean was always patient and made sure to escalate and follow up to other internal contacts when needed. It is impressive that Sean is able to provide this level of service while multitasking with current and prospective tenants at once, in person, and addressing all requests so quickly . Big thank you to Sean!”

“I’ve had a very positive experience with Equity residential and 1210 Mass. Units have been renovated nicely, are spacious, include great windows for natural light, and have really nice hard floors throughout. The location of this community is truly incredible- most places you’d want to go are easily accessible by foot but metro/bus stations are near by and parking garage is convenient. The leasing, concierge, and maintenance team are all great. The building is very well taken care of and I highly recommend Ava, the community manager, to help you with any questions or needs you may have. She has been a really helpful resource to me as I look to sign a new lease in the building. Thanks, Ava!”

“Recently moved into Berkshire 15 and could not be happier with the decision. Everything from the first visit to the application to the move-in has been extremely professional and efficient. The staff is truly incredible and has already made me feel so comfortable and part of the community, and the apartment itself has great appliances / finishings. Location is also a huge positive, as it is very safe, convenient to everything I could need, and Meridian Hill park is right next door for some nice mid-day walks.”

I have been here two years now and let me convey to you the wonderful job Marvin is doing. He always takes the time out to help the residents here at the Press House, especially the elderly and disable. Moreover he has great patience and concern. He is a big cornerstone that makes the day to day operations here at the Press House run smoothly and efficiently. “We are very thankful for the chance to have lived at Elevation for almost 3 years! I will absolutely admit the constant construction was not fun, but we were aware of it when we chose to move in. I have seen other reviews about how the walls are thin, but I truly disagree. We could never hear our neighbors, only if someone was loudly talking as they passed our door. The on site staff are part of the reason our experience was so great. The maintenance team was excellent, always timely and quick to resolve our issues. The main concierges are great as well! In the leasing office, Caroline is a true saint. She was always prompt to respond to any email I sent, and has so much kindness and empathy.”

“I've lived here for over 2 years, and while I miss Latoya and Jared, Mia has been such a fesh breath of air. If i have any question or concern, I feel comfortable going to Mia because she really knows her stuff and has gotten even the smallest concerns resolved for me. On top of that, Mia has been amazing at hosting events, and I've felt more chances to get to know my neighbors because of her. For Mia, I'm so grateful because she makes Chase what it is.”

“The maintenance has been great! I had a problem with my refrigerator; it was making a terrible noise at times. The problem was solved; the fan cover was loose, and there was ice in it. Work was done in a very few minutes. Things are quiet now.”

He is very good at what he does. The maintenance team's Melvin and Nelson Aragon are always quick to resolve any problems and eager to go above and beyond to assist. “My names Andy. I recently had the pleasure of residing in this exceptional apartment, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. At first, I was nervous but then I stepped through the leasing agent door I was greeted by a wonderful associate named Jasmine. Her service was nothing short of amazing. She was able to answer all my question and actually brighten my day with some humorThe touring process was smooth and very informative learned a lot about the building and the management. The presentation was definitely a plus for me.The living spaces are thoughtfully designed, with ample natural light in the living area which is great for my plants. Washer and dryer. This experience was extraordinary”

“This is a wonderful apartment community. The entire team is made up of professional people who truly care about their residents. I have lived here for over a year and it is immaculately clean, quiet at night, and best of all, no smell of weed anywhere, as it is a nonsmoking community. After a day spent out anywhere else in this city, that is very refreshing. They are very responsive and friendly and maintenance is prompt. The one con is the freight elevator- it is out of order around 50% of the time. If I were healthy, I would just use the stairs, but as I can’t right now, the slow wait times is the only down side.If you are a respectful, considerate adult, you would be very pleased if you chose cathedral commons as your home. It is truly an oasis of calm in this city.Update 2/2024They fixed the elevator and now with 2 in service, they are very quick. This is an amazing staff and a wonderful place to live.”

“We have lived in this condominium for 2 years. Here is a great place for those with children, children identify it as CAMPO, the leisure area, with a very large space where children play and in addition to the swimming pool, which in the summer is very well looked after and safe.As for the maintenance of the apartment, they are quick, every few times I needed it within a few hours they were already resolved. The office is always so friendly and attentive to residents.A clean and very organized place. I highly recommend this place to live.”

“As a long term resident at Connecticut Heights, I am grateful for our amazing concierge Bernell and our fabulous office staff! Nathan, Lawrence, Rashad and Shayna are always available for any support and needs. The leasing office is always helpful and prompt in communication responses. Between the new concierge and the leasing office team, I would highly recommend Connecticut Heights. I have enjoyed the community vibe that both the concierge Bernell, and the leasing office have worked hard to create.”
